Abnormal Working Conditions Clause Samples

The Abnormal Working Conditions clause defines the procedures and responsibilities when work is affected by unexpected or unusual site conditions. Typically, it requires the contractor to promptly notify the client or project manager if conditions such as hazardous materials, unforeseen obstacles, or extreme weather are encountered, and may outline steps for adjusting timelines or costs. This clause ensures that both parties have a clear process for addressing disruptions, minimizing disputes, and allocating risk when work cannot proceed as originally planned.
