ADVANCED TRAINING DIFFERENTIAL. Employees who complete Advanced Training to meet apprenticeship standards beyond the training required to receive a valid “Home Care Aide” certification (as set forth in Training Partnership curriculum) shall receive a differential of twenty five (25) cents Workers participating in Advanced Training will be paid their regular hourly rate of pay for all hours of training. It is the intent of the Employer to work with the Union on maximizing the number of workers that can be paid an Advanced Training differential.
ADVANCED TRAINING DIFFERENTIAL. Employees who have completed Advanced Training (discontinued on February 2017) to meet apprenticeship standards beyond the training required to receive a valid “Home Care Aide” certification (as set forth in Training Partnership curriculum) shall continue to receive a differential of twenty-five cents ($0.25). Workers participating in Advanced Training will be paid their regular hourly rate of pay for all hours of training. It is the intent of the Employer to work with the Union on maximizing the number of workers that can be paid an Advanced Training differential. The Employer will honor completed Advanced Training at the time of hire for new employees with verification from the employee or the Training Partnership. Employees who complete the Advanced Home Care Aide Specialist (ACHAS) or Advanced Behavioral Home Care Aide Specialist (ABHCAS) Training (set forth in the Training Partnership Curriculum), as referenced in Article 21 – Training, shall receive a differential of seventy-five cents ($0.75) in addition to their hourly rate and other applicable differentials. Employees assigned by the Employer to receive ACHAS Training will meet criteria set forth in Article 21 – Training and must have completed their probationary period. The number of employees who may complete the training is limited to six (6) employees annually, as determined by the Employer’s contribution to the Training Partnership (as set forth in Article 21 – Training). The Employer will honor completed Advanced Training and Advanced Home Care Aide Specialist training at the time of hire for new employees with verification of completion from the employee or the Training Partnership. Employees participating in this training shall be paid by the Employer at their regular rate of pay.

  • Bilingual Differential When formally assigned in the employee’s position description, an employee assigned to interpret to or from another language to English will receive a differential of five percent (5%) of base pay.

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration. This shift differential shall not apply to those employees who have requested and have been granted flexible work scheduling.

  • Shift Differentials 18.1 Employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 1400 and 2159 hours shall receive a shift differential of seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour, and employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of eighty cents (80¢) per hour. Effective January 1, 2005, for employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of one dollar ($1) per hour. Overtime shall not be calculated on the shift differential nor shall the shift differential be paid for paid absence from duty such as vacations, general holidays, etc.

  • Night Differential An employee shall be paid a night differential, bi-weekly for hours worked between midnight and 7:00 a.m. at a rate of $3.00 per hour. Night differential worked during overtime will be paid at one and one-half (1 ½) times $3.00 and on statutory holidays at two (2) times $3.00.

  • Shift Differential Pay A $2.50 per hour payment shall be paid to any employee assigned regularly established shift differential assignments. For purposes of this Section, shift differential hours are 5:00 P.M. to 8:30 A.M. and all day Saturday and Sunday. Shift differential is a premium payment and is, therefore, included in the computation of overtime. The schedule for employees working a flex time or compressed schedule shall not be considered shift differential hours.
