If the Sponsoring Employer elects in the Adoption Agreement that the service requirement for participation with respect to one or more components of the Plan is the lesser of 1 Year of Service or a stated number of consecutive months, weeks, or days of employment, then an Employee will only be deemed to have completed a month, week, or day of employment for any calendar month, week, or day during which the Employee (1) is continuously employed with the Employer or an Affiliated Employer without interruption for that entire calendar month, week, or day except for those interruptions that are described in the definition of Hour of Service, and (2) if elected in the Adoption Agreement, is credited with the number of Hours of Service for that month, week, or day as indicated in the Adoption Agreement. For purposes of the prior sentence, the determination of whether an Eligible Employee has satisfied the stated number of consecutive months, weeks, or days of employment will be made on the basis of an Eligibility Computation Period; if an Eligible Employee does not satisfy the stated number of consecutive months, weeks, or days of employment during an Eligibility Computation Period, then such Eligible Employee has not satisfied the stated number of consecutive months, weeks, or days of employment, until satisfied during a subsequent Eligibility Computation Period.

AGE AND SERVICE REQUIREMENTS. (a) There is no minimum age to become a Participant, unless an age requirement (not greater than age 21) is elected in the Adoption Agreement.
(b) There is a service requirement of one Year of Eligibility Service to become a Participant, unless it is elected in the Adoption Agreement to require:
(i) no service requirement;
(ii) the number of consecutive Months of Service (not more than 12) specified in the Adoption Agreement, but this requirement will be deemed to be met if the Employee is credited with one Year of Eligibility Service before meeting this consecutive Months of Service requirement;
(iii) two Years of Eligibility Service, in which case the Plan cannot use any of the optional vesting schedules in section 2.82(d) nor provide for Salary Deferral Contributions under section 4.4; or
(iv) another service requirement specified in the Adoption Agreement, but this requirement will be deemed to be met if the Employee is credited with one Year of Eligibility Service before meeting this service requirement.
(c) A former Employee who has met the applicable requirements of paragraph (b), but ceased to be an Eligible Employee before his or her Entry Date, will become a Participant immediately upon becoming an Eligible Employee again.
(d) A Former Participant will become a Participant as of the date he or she becomes an Eligible Employee again.
(e) A Former Participant will continue to have all the rights of a Participant, except making or receiving contributions, until all distributions to him or her under the Plan are completed.

AGE AND SERVICE REQUIREMENTS. Any minimum age and service requirements are set forth in the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company MetLife(R) 401(k) adoption agreement. The minimum service requirement may not exceed one year of service (one-half year in the case of a plan with annual entry dates); however, if the employer's plan provides for full and immediate vesting after two years or less of service, the minimum service requirement may not exceed two years of service (one and one-half years in the case of a plan with annual entry dates). If applicable, the Employer shall elect in Section B.2 of the Adoption Agreement whether to use the "Hours of Service" method or the "Elapsed Time" method.
