AND COMMITTEES. The parties recognize the value of nurses’ input and participation in committee meetings. All joint meetings shall be scheduled where practical, during the nurse’s regular working hours. The Employer will provide replacement staff where operationally required. The employer agrees to pay for time spent during regular working hours for representatives of the Association attending meetings with the Employer.

However, an employee who feels he has been unjustly disciplined or discharged may file a grievance at Step as per Article Clause of the Collective Agreement. A Negotiating Committee consisting of a Business Representative of the Union and not more than two (2) bargaining unit employees who have completed their probationary period, shall be appointed or elected by the Union. In the event a continuous shift is instituted, up to two (2) additional Stewards will be recognized.
