Applicable to Full. Time Employees An employee required to work' on any of the designated holidays listed in the collective agreement shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half 1/21 his regular straight time rate of pay for all hours worked on such holiday, subject to Article In addition, he will receive a lieu day off with pay in the amount of his regular straight time hourly rate of pay times seven and one- half hours, except in those hospitals which have a standard work day of less than seven and one-half (7 hours in which case holiday pay will be based on the standard daily hours in that hospital. Applicable to Part-Time Employees An employee required to work on any of the designated holidays listed in the collective agreement shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half his regular straight time rate of pay for hours worked on such holiday, subject to Where the employee is required to work on a paid holiday for which he is paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 his regular straight time hourly rate and is required to work additional hours following the full on that day (but not including hours on a subsequent regularly scheduled tour for such employee) he shall receive two (2) times his regular straight time hourly rate for such additional hours worked. A shift that begins or ends during the twenty-four hour period of the holiday where the majority of hours worked falls within the holiday shall be deemed to be work performed on the holiday for the full period of the shift. If a holiday is observed on an employee's scheduled day off or during his vacation period and provided further that he does not work for the Hospital on the said holiday he shall be granted an alternate day off with pay in lieu of the holiday at a time mutually agreed upon by the employee and his Department Head, provided that he complies with the requirements of Article An employee who is required to work on a holiday shall be paid holiday premium pay at one and one-half times his basic straight time hourly rate for all hours so worked and in addition provided that he qualifies, shall receive holiday pay or a day off in lieu with pay at the employee's option and as arranged in advance with the Department Head. Such lieu day shall be taken within thirty (30) days following the holiday or as otherwise mutually agreed between the employee and the Hospital.

Applicable to Full. Time Employees The collective agreement shall provide twelve 2) paid holidays with appropriate payment to all employees who have completed twenty (20) days with the employer, provided that he fulfills the qualifying conditions, if any, set out in the respective collective agreements. It is understood that the list of paid holidays may include a combination of designated and non-designated days such as float days, anniversary days, and birthdays. Applicable to Part-Time Employees The collective agreements shall list twelve (12) holidays for purposes of payment for work performed on such holidays.
