If Shared Leave is approved, the District will determine the amount of Shared Leave the recipient may receive. Use/Return of Shared Leave. Leave transferred under the procedure shall be handled on a day to day basis in ½ (half) day increments. Unused leave shall be transferred back to the donor, and in the case of multiple donors, by pro-rating and returning hours. Unused leave will not be returned until verification that the condition no longer exists and/or release of the employee for full time employment.
