Area Allowances Clause Samples

The Area Allowances clause defines the permitted variations in the measured or specified area of a property or space, typically within construction or real estate contracts. It sets out acceptable tolerances for discrepancies between the stated and actual area, often allowing for minor differences due to measurement methods or construction practices. This clause ensures that both parties have a clear understanding of what constitutes an acceptable deviation, thereby reducing disputes over small measurement differences and providing certainty in contractual obligations.
