Assignment Differential Sample Clauses

The Assignment Differential clause defines how differences in compensation or benefits are handled when an employee is assigned to a new role, location, or project. Typically, this clause specifies the conditions under which an employee may receive additional pay or allowances to account for changes in cost of living, job responsibilities, or work environment. For example, if an employee is temporarily relocated to a higher-cost city, the clause may entitle them to a stipend or salary adjustment. Its core function is to ensure fair and transparent treatment of employees facing changes in assignment, thereby addressing potential inequities and supporting workforce mobility.
