Banking of Overtime. When an employee is required to work overtime he or she may, if the Employer agrees, elect to receive time off instead of payment. Such time off shall be the equivalent in hours to the pay for such overtime that would have been calculated under Clause 8.3. The employee shall make his election at the time of completing his/her overtime claim sheet.

Banking of Overtime. When Instead of cash payment for overtime, an employee is required to work overtime he or she may, if the Employer agrees, elect may choose to receive time off instead off. Time in lieu of payment. Such time off shall be the equivalent in hours to the pay for such overtime that would have been calculated under Clause 8.3will be equivalent to hours earned (for example: if an employee works two (2) hours at time and one-half, the employee will bank three (3) hours.) Time off will be taken at a time mutually agreed by the employee and the supervisor. When an employee is required Employees may bank overtime pay (exceeding thirty (30) minutes a day) to work overtime he be taken in pay or she may, if the Employer agrees, elect to receive equivalent time off instead of paymentoff. The employee shall make his election granted at the discretion of the Company, keeping in mind the availability of casual operators. Employees must indicate on their overtime slips their desire to bank any overtime. An employee using this option for time of completing his/her off must take a complete shift off and the overtime claim sheetbank must contain sufficient funds to at least equal the wages for the complete shift.
