Bargaining Unit Member Status Sample Clauses

The "Bargaining Unit Member Status" clause defines who is considered a member of the bargaining unit within an organization, typically for the purposes of collective bargaining and representation. This clause outlines the criteria for inclusion or exclusion, such as job titles, departments, or employment status, and may specify whether temporary, part-time, or probationary employees are covered. By clearly establishing membership boundaries, the clause ensures that both the employer and the union understand which employees are subject to the terms of the collective agreement, thereby preventing disputes over representation and coverage.
