Common use of Call Back Allowance Clause in Contracts

Call Back Allowance. When a regular full-time employee is called back to work and reports to work following completion of his regular shift, having left the premises in the interim, he/she shall be provided with and assigned to at least a minimum of two (2) hours work. In the event such work is not available, the employee shall be paid a minimum amount equal to two (2) hours pay at one-and-one half times his/her regular hourly rate.
