SALARIES AND COMPENSATION. A. The salaries of all unit members covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix “A” which is attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement, and there shall be no exceptions thereto, except as may be specifically negotiated between the parties to this Agreement. For any new position in an area covered by the Recognition Clause (Article 2 above) which may be created by the Board and for which no salary provision is made herein, the parties agree that the salary for the said position shall be subject to negotiations pursuant to Conn. Gen. Statute 10153, Section f(e).
B. Extra pay for extracurricular activities shall be as set forth in Appendix “B” which is attached hereto and made part of the Agreement.
SALARIES AND COMPENSATION. 28.1 Executive Compensation All executive compensation shall be reported for each executive officer. The reasonableness standards and criteria for executive compensation are contained in Internal Revenue Code Section 4958. This rule shall apply to all individuals of the non-profit corporation deemed by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to be anyone in a position to exercise substantial influence over a non-profit corporation’s affairs. This rule may apply to the individual’s immediate family as well as to family-controlled entities. Compensation provided in accordance with Internal Revenue Code Section 4958 shall be deemed to be reasonable for the purposes of reporting AFDC-FC costs.
SALARIES AND COMPENSATION. A. The salaries of all unit members covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A which is attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement, and there shall be no exceptions thereto, except as may be specifically negotiated between the parties to this Agreement. For any new position in an area covered by the Recognition Clause (Article 2 above) which may be created by the Board and for which no salary provision is made herein, the parties agree that the salary for the said position shall be subject to consultation pursuant to the provisions of Article 14 of this Agreement. In the event such consultation provision does not produce an agreement, such salary issue shall be subject to mid-term negotiations (and any related impasse resolution procedures) as set forth in Conn. Gen. Stat. Section 10-153f(e).
B. Doctorate Stipend: Unit members possessing a doctorate degree (i.e. Ph.D. or Ed.D. degree) shall receive an additional stipend of $2,500 each year of the contract.
SALARIES AND COMPENSATION. 4.1 Salary Range Cost Of Living Adjustments (COLA):
a. FY 2019/20: The City and IBEW agree that, effective August 31, 2019, the City shall provide IBEW represented employees on payroll as of the date of approval of this successor MOU by City Council, a 2% base salary increase (reflected in Attachments #1 (Operations and Maintenance Unit) and #2 (Clerical Unit), the continuation of which shall be contingent upon the following ongoing employee pension cost sharing being implemented pursuant to Government Code section 20516 within a reasonable period after City Council approval of this successor MOU implementing the 2% base salary increase:
1. CalPERS Tier 1 classic Unit members shall pay 8% as employee contribution, plus an additional 2% as ongoing employee cost sharing, for a total employee contribution of 10%.
2. CalPERS Tier 2 classic Unit members shall pay 7% as employee contribution, plus an additional 1% as ongoing employee cost sharing, for a total employee contribution of 8%. This ongoing cost sharing arrangement shall only be applicable to members of the City’s Operations and Maintenance Unit and Clerical Unit, who were/are represented by IBEW and covered by the IBEW MOU 2019-2021.
b. FY 2020/21: The City and IBEW agree that, effective July 1, 2020, and contingent upon implementation of a CalPERS Contract Amendment pursuant to Government Code section 20516 and the employee cost sharing referenced in Section 4.1(a) above, the City shall provide IBEW represented employees an additional 3% base salary increase (reflected in Attachments #3 (Operations and Maintenance Unit) and #4(Clerical Unit).
