Classification of Work. Equity and the Engager undertake to mutually agree on the classification of work as opera, operetta or musical theatre on an individual production basis.
Classification of Work. A. Throughout this Agreement, the word “classification” shall mean the job title of Maintenance Controller, Lead Mechanic, Inspector, Maintenance Training Instructor, Aircraft Mechanic/Avionics Technician, and Aircraft Cleaner/Utility Person. While an Employee’s job classification sets out the duties normally associated with the job, as the needs of the Company may dictate, an Employee may be assigned or reassigned to perform or assist in job duties normally associated with another classification. Further, all Employees are expected to perform, as needed, those routine duties associated with maintaining the work place (e.g. hangar and/or line maintenance work spaces and equipment) in a safe, clean and operative condition as set forth in Article 1, paragraph I, provided however, Employees will not be assigned to other job duties for punitive reasons.
B. For purposes of Article 10, the descending order of classification shall be as follows:
1. Maintenance Controller
2. Inspector; Lead Mechanic
3. Maintenance Training Instructor 4. Aircraft Mechanic/Avionics Technician 5. Aircraft Cleaner/Utility Person
C. The Company will develop and publish written qualifications, job descriptions and responsibilities for each classification that is bid. Such qualifications, job descriptions and responsibilities will be uniformly applied and made available electronically at each Maintenance Base. The Company and Union will meet to discuss any changes made to qualifications, job descriptions and responsibilities.
D. A Lead Mechanic will be required to be on duty at a PSA Maintenance Base when three (3) or more Mechanics are scheduled on duty, on a shift at a PSA Maintenance Base. A Lead Mechanic will not be required to lead and direct more than eighteen (18) Employees. The Company is not required to deploy a Lead Mechanic on a field service trip merely to satisfy the preceding requirements.
E. If a Lead Mechanic is called away during a shift, calls in sick, or for any other reason is unexpectedly unavailable, the Company may call overtime for a Lead Mechanic or will upgrade the most qualified senior Mechanic on duty.
Classification of Work. Pending adoption of a national classification of work rule, employees will ordinarily perform the work which has been performed traditionally by the craft at that location, if formerly a railroad facility, or, as it has been performed at comparable Amtrak facilities, if it is a new facility.
Classification of Work. ▇▇▇▇▇▇'s work shall consist of building, maintaining, dismantling (except all wood freighttrain cars), painting, upholstering and inspecting all passenger and freight cars, both wood and steel, planing mill, cabinet and bench ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ work, pattern and flask making, and all other ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ work in shops and yards, except work generally recognized as bridge and building department work; ▇▇▇▇▇▇'s work in building and repairing motor cars, lever cars, hand cars and station trucks; building, repairing and removing and applying locomotive cabs, pilots, pilot beams, running foot and headlight boards, tender frames and trucks; pipe and inspection work in connection with air brake equipment on freight cars; applying patented metal roofing; operating punches and shears, doing shaping and forming; work done with hand forges and heating torches in connection with ▇▇▇▇▇▇'s work; painting with brushes, varnishing, surfacing, decorating, lettering, cutting of stencils and removing paint (not including use of sand blast machine or removing in vats); all other work generally recognized as painters' work under the supervision of the locomotive and car departments, except the application of blacking to fire and smoke boxes of locomotives in engine houses; joint car inspectors, car inspectors, safety appliance and train car repairers; oxy-acetylene, thermit and electric welding on work generally recognized as ▇▇▇▇▇▇'s work; and all other work generally recognized as ▇▇▇▇▇▇'s work.
Classification of Work. Section 12.1 Maintenance Specialists' work shall consist of inspection, repair, modification, all areas of air brake maintenance including testing, electric brakes, painting, and all other work coincidental with the repair of freight cars, such as, but not limited to, cutting, burning, welding, inspection, maintenance and operation of maintenance equipment, handling of material, making computerized reports and billing, or any other duties associated with the orderly operation of business.
Section 12.2 Maintenance Generalists shall be limited to pretripping autoracks, cleaning and/or removal of obstructions on deck, cleaning of Railbox cars, including removal of dunnage, trash, banding, etc.; material handling; any work coincidental with the performance of the above or any other duties associated with the orderly operation of business.
Classification of Work. A. The work of a janitor shall consist of all duties currently performed and other future expanded duties, related to cleaning, maintaining equipment and the movement and storage of supplies, and other related duties necessary to fulfill its' contract with United Airlines.
B. The work of a Lead janitor shall be the same duties of a cleaner with the added responsibility of leading and directing a work crew.
Classification of Work. 4.1 For the purpose of this Agreement, the following job classifications will apply: (See attachment chart, Classifications within Divisions, page 155.)
Classification of Work. In order to classify the provisions of the Work for sales and use tax purposes, if applicable, the Parties shall treat this Agreement as a contract for either (a) the installation of tangible personal property; or (b) the installation of real property, in accordance with state Law. If the Work performed by Contractor is considered installation of tangible personal property, Contractor shall be responsible for collecting from Company and remitting to the taxing jurisdiction(s) sales or use tax on all taxable charges for services, materials, and freight provided under this Agreement.
Classification of Work. All work shall be classified and shall be known as a day shift, an evening shift, a two piece shift or extra work. All day shifts shall be completed within eight consecutive hours. All evening shifts shall be completed within eight consecutive hours. Classification of Work. 4 The work of a Lead Inspector will consist of supervising, leading and directing the work 5 of other Inspectors and performing such inspection work as may be required, including 6 handling Company paperwork and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) liaison. A 7 Lead Inspector must have a valid Airframe and Powerplant (A & P) license and have had 8 at least six (6) years of aircraft experience. Whenever more than three (3) A&P Inspectors 9 are on duty and on the same shift within a bid location, one (1) // will be Lead.
