COMBINED POSITIONS. In the event a Displaced Nurse bumps into the positions or portions of positions of more than a single nurse, the nurse shall be deemed to hold a single position/FTE following the bumping; provided, however, a nurse electing to combine positions by bumping may be required to fill all requirements of each position, including standby and weekend coverage (without receiving the 1½x premium provided by Article 7.

Step placement will be based upon years of equivalent classified experience in the District. 2. Regular school term or ten (10) month classified employees who accept short-term employment during breaks (e.g. summer school) shall accrue sick leave and vacation based on the hours and days worked during the short term period. In addition, they will be able to access their total accrued sick leave, and other leaves of absence as during the academic year. With prior approval, employees may take unpaid leave (dock days) during their short term employment. C. A permanent employee working less than four (4) hours a day that is not subject to benefits cannot add any additional permanent hours which would increase their work hour day beyond four (4) hours. Notwithstanding the paragraph above, for a period of time commencing on July 1, 2012 and ending on June 30, 2013, permanent employees may add additional permanent hours which would increase their workday up to 5.75 hours. Employees who apply for and are selected for additional hours involving more than one (1) site, may not receive compensation or reimbursement for travel between job locations. Such travel shall occur during the employees’ non-work time. All permanent employees who increased their work hours during this period of time, shall maintain those hours and benefits after June 30, 2013. D....
