Configuration Status Accounting. The Contractor’s configuration status accounting shall be in accordance with ANSI/EIA-649, the Configuration Management Plan for the VLS, Volume 1, Equipment (Hardware) Configuration Management, TL130-AD-PLN- 010-VLS, and the Configuration Management Plan for the VLS, Volume 3, Firmware Configuration Management, TL130-AD-PLN-030-VLS. The Contractor shall provide a system that documents the exact delivered configuration of each unit. The Contractor, or Subcontractor at the appropriate tier, shall identify the "as-built" production configuration of each NAVSEA nomenclatured item by means of permanent markings on the appropriate ORDALT/ Ship Change Installation Procedure (SCIP) label plate on the equipment to identify the specific ORDALTs/SCIPs installed in the equipment being delivered. For Class I ECPs, which are not assigned an ORDALT number, the ORDALT label plate shall be marked with the applicable Class I ECP number as assigned by the Government. For purposes of this requirement, markings may be etched, steel stamped or affixed by other suitable means which results in the permanent identification of the equipment configuration. Ink stamping is not permitted.
Configuration Status Accounting. The Contractor shall establish and maintain a Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) program, which represents the configuration of the TWFS. The CSA system shall provide baseline documentation, delineate the status of changes to the baseline, record implementation of approved changes, and provide an audit trail for engineering changes, drawings and associated lists, software, and other related technical documentation. All approved changes which have been installed in the TWFS shall be recorded. The CSA database shall be electronically transferred to the Government at completion of contract. Configuration Status Accounting. The Contractor shall establish a Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) database to record and track status of CDP hardware and software. This database shall be established and functional prior to PRR. The Contractor shall provide the Government electronic access to this database throughout the term of the contract. The Contractor shall record the CSA data for each CDP system, including ▇▇▇▇, in this database when each system is delivered. The CSA data shall be identified to the LRU level as defined in the TDP (CDRL A015). The Contractor shall include a report of CSA database activities in the monthly Contractor’s Progress, Status, and Management Report (CDRL A002).
