DEFINITIONS & EMPLOYEE CATEGORIES. 2.1 The term "employee" as used in this Agreement, shall mean any person, either male or female, employed in a classification included within the Bargaining Unit referred to in Clause 2.
DEFINITIONS & EMPLOYEE CATEGORIES. I The term "employee," as used in this Agreement shall mean any person, either male or female, employed in a classification included within the Bargaining Unit referred to in Article It shall include any person employed in any job or classification created in the future which the parties, by mutual consent, decide to include within the I Bargaining Unit, provided that where such mutual consent is not reached, such failure shall not become a subject for grievance under this Agreement, but may be referred by either party to the Canada Labour Relations Board for decision as to the inclusion or exclusion of the disputed classification in the Bargaining Unit. Wherever in the wording of this Agreement the masculine gender is used, it shall be understood to include the feminine gender and when the feminine gender is used, it shall be understood to include the masculine gender. The Company, for the purpose of this agreement, is Broadcasting, a Division of Inc., at its stations and The Company recognizes Union exclusive Bargaining for all employed in the Unit by Canada Labour Relations Board in which states that Bargaining Unit consists employees of Broadcasting employed at Dartmouth, Nova Scotia radio stations, and excluding general manager, to general sales secretary to promotions director, program director, chief engineer, news director, comptroller, students and employees". All employees covered by considered full-time permanent employees except as defined. This does not prohibit the use of casual employees as from the Bargaining Unit as per above. A employee is an employee who work on an as non-scheduled basis and is assigned a shift basis to in for absence due to sickness, special leave provisions or overload situations. At point that a employee can be scheduled to work in advance, shall be deemed a employee. A probationary employee is an employee hired for a regular job but who has not yet completed a probationary period of three (3) months (six (6) months in the case of on-air employees) continuous and employment in that job function. Time lost by probationary employees for personal or health reasons shall not be counted toward the completion of the probationary period. Part-time employees shall serve a probationary period of sixty days work or one (1) year whichever comes first.   • Employee Categories All employees fall into one or the other of four principal categories as outlined below.

  • Employment Categories (a) Employees under this Agreement will be employed in one of the following categories: (i) full-time; (ii) part time; or (iii) casual. (b) At the time of engagement an employer will inform each employee whether they are employed on a full-time, part time or casual basis. An employer may direct an employee to carry out such duties that are within the limits of the employee’s skill, competence and training, consistent with the respective classification.

  • Definition of Employees a) A Full-Time Employee is a person employed by the Day Care who regularly works the full time hours as specified in Article 17.

  • Fixed Term Employees The only terms of this Agreement that apply to employees who are not regular employees are those that are set out in Articles 31A, 32, 33 and 34. 31A.1 Articles 31A.2 to 31A.16 apply only to fixed-term employees other than seasonal, student and GO Temp employees.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2
