Demising Partitions. All demising partitions between Tenant's space and adjacent space must be fully sheathed using 5/8" Type X gypsum board, taped and finished, from floor to structure above.
Demising Partitions. Shall be constructed to extend from floor slab to underside of roof deck or steel beam above. Construct with fire rated code 5/8" type X gypsum wallboard on each side, sound batt insulation in 3 5/8" metal studs (24" on center) taped and spackled with vinyl base. Fire rated caulk to be applied all around. Each side of the partition to be painted with two (2) coats of flat paint and contains a 4" carpet base. Any other unfinished concrete or masonry walls or columns are to be furred with _____ gypsum wallboard over 1 1/2" studs at 24" on center. Insulation is to be provided per the design energy calculations.
Demising Partitions. Landlord shall install metal wall studs, 16" on center, between all leased premises. Where rated walls are required between Leased Premises and service/exit corridors Landlord shall install 5/8" fire code gypsum board from the floor to the roof deck on both Landlord and Tenant sides, along demising partitions separating Tenant from service/exit corridors.

These one (1) hour fire rated walls shall be installed from floor to underside of roof deck and shall include 6"-18" gauge metal studs 12" o/c with 5/8" type "X" wall board, taped, spackled, and painted white. 1/2" plywood will be applied at a height of 4' and painted white.

Provide 2½" thick full batt sound insulation, seismic bracing as required, and control joints and control joint sealants in partitions, as recommended by gypsum wall board manufacturer. The Tenant, upon Landlord's approval, may also install drywall to a higher level if openings of sufficient size are provided to assure that the smoke venting system provided by the Landlord functions as designed - see Tenant Handbook for specific requirements.
