Evaluation License Clause Samples

An Evaluation License is a contractual provision that grants a party the right to use a product, service, or software for a limited period and solely for the purpose of testing or assessing its suitability. Typically, this license restricts commercial use, limits the duration of access, and may require the user to provide feedback or refrain from reverse engineering. Its core practical function is to allow potential customers to evaluate the offering before committing to a full license, thereby reducing the risk of dissatisfaction and ensuring informed purchasing decisions.
