Example 1. An American mu- seum is undergoing renovation and will be closed to the public for one year. During that time, masterpieces from the collection will go on tour to three other museums in the United States. Many of these works have never been lent for travel, and this will be a unique and the last opportunity for museum visitors in other parts of the country to see them exhibited to- gether. Once the new building opens, they will be permanently installed and dispersed throughout the museum’s galleries.
Example 1. If the Supplier achieves Service Availability of 98.5% in a given Measurement Period, it will incur a Minor KPI Failure for Service Availability in that Measurement Period and accordingly accrue 1 Service Point. If, in the next Measurement Period, it achieves Service Availability of 96.5%, it will incur a Severe KPI Failure and accordingly accrue 3 Service Points, but as the failure is a Repeat Failure, this amount is doubled and so the Supplier will incur 6 Service Points for the failure (i.e. SP = 3 x 2). If in the next Measurement Period it achieves Service Availability of 96.5%, the Supplier will again incur 6 Service Points.
Example 1. In different Delivery Periods within the same Month the BSP has contracted FCR 100mHz, FCR Up and FCR Down Service Types for different volumes. – For the whole given Month the BSP receives : – 5.000€ for the FCR Up Service Type, – 10.000€ for the FCR 100mHz Service Type and – 3.000€ for the FCR Down Service Type – The BSP fails an Availability Test, concerning the FCR Down Service Type and the FCR 100mHz Service Type. – Penalty Cap: 15.000€

Example 1. Remittance based on delivery of gas to the Gas Distributor in a month where the forecasted banked gas account attributed to the Gas Vendor is in a debit and the respective NYMEX ▇▇▇▇ Basis price is less than commodity rate specified by the Gas Vendor. Assume: Consumption = 10,000 m3 Delivery = 8,000 m3 NYMEX = $0.16 per m3 Commodity rate = $0.25 per m3 The Maximum Security Amount is calculated as follows: = banked gas account x NYMEX – (amounts collected – amounts remitted) = [consumption – delivery] x NYMEX – ([consumption x commodity rate] – [delivery x commodity rate]) = [10,000 – 8,000] x 0.16 – ([10,000 x 0.25] – [8,000 x 0.25]) = ‐$180 The calculation would be repeated for each banked gas account attributed to the Gas Vendor for each month of the applicable 12 month period and then summed up by month to determine the month with the maximum cumulative Maximum Security Amount. A negative cumulative Maximum Security Amount would represent no security required from the Gas Vendor.
Example 1. An employer and an employee have entered into a Short Work Week agreement. The work schedule as shown below: Sun Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Week 2 10 10 10 10 Hourly Rate: $15.00 An employee worked more than 12 hours in a day. Sun Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Week 1 10 10 15 10 Week 2 10 10 10 Hourly Rate: $15.00 Regular Pay: 72 x $15.00 = $1,080.00 Overtime Pay: 3 x $15.00 = $45.00 Total Wages Earned: $1,125.00 A general holiday occurs during a two-week period. Sun Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Week 1 10 (GH) 10 10 10 Week 2 10 10 10 10 Hourly Rate: $15.00 Regular Pay: 72 x $15.00 = $1,080.00 Overtime pay: 8 x 1.5 x $15.00 = $180.00 Total wages earned: $1,260.00 + General Holiday pay
Example 1. For a given Delivery Period (week 1) the BSP contracted respectively 7MW and 5MW for Service Types Up & 100mHz, – For all other Delivery Periods within the same Month (weeks 2,3 and 4) the BSP has contracted FCR 100mHz, FCR Up and FCR Down Service Types for different volumes. – For the whole given Month the BSP receives : – 5.000€ for the FCR Up Service Type, – 10.000€ for the FCR 100mHz Service Type and – 3.000€ for the FCR Down Service Type – ▇▇▇▇ analyses a Frequency Variation in week 1 for which the BSP is required to deliver all of his downwards obligation (meaning thus only power for the FCR 100mHz Service Type). – The BSP delivers only 4,5MW out of 5MW that was his obligation. – Activation: – Preq_act= 5 MW – Psup_act =4,5 MW – Remuneration reduction: – α = (5-4,5)/5=0,1 – Reduction3= 0,2 * 10.000€ * 0.1 = 200 € – For a given Delivery Period (week 1) the BSP has contracted respectively 7MW and 5MW for Service Types Down & 100mHz, – For all other Delivery Periods within the same Month (weeks 2,3 and 4) the BSP has contracted FCR 100mHz, FCRUp and FCR Down Service Types for different volumes. – For the whole given Month the BSP receives in total : – 5.000€ for the FCR Up Service Type, – 10.000€ for the FCR 100mHz Service Type and – 3.000€ for the FCR Down Service Type – ▇▇▇▇ analyses a Frequency Variation in week 1 for which the BSP is required to deliver all of his downwards obligation (meaning thus all power for the FCR 100mHz and FCR Down Service Types). – The BSP delivers only 10MW out of 12MW that was his obligation. – Activation: – Preq_act = 12 MW – Psup_act =10 MW – Remuneration reduction: – α = (12-10)/12=0,17 – Reduction3= 0,2 * 13.000€ * 0.17 = 442 € In case of the BSP’s penalization for failing an Availability Test as per Annex 9, ▇▇▇▇ will cap penalties to the monthly remuneration of the concerned Service Types as per Annex 11 (MRSTC).
