The Field Representative clause designates an individual or entity responsible for overseeing and managing activities at a project site on behalf of a party, typically the owner or contractor. This representative acts as the main point of contact for day-to-day communications, monitors progress, and ensures that work is performed according to contract specifications. By clearly assigning authority and responsibility, the clause helps streamline project coordination and resolves issues efficiently, reducing the risk of miscommunication and delays.
Field Representative. The Union's field representative shall be permitted to enter work areas where its members are employed during normal working hours for the purpose of ascertaining whether the terms of this Agreement are being observed, to observe job conditions under which its members are employed, and to assist in adjusting grievances. The Union field representative shall notify the department head or other designated supervisor at the earliest possible time, and at least upon entering such work areas, and shall not interfere with or interrupt the conduct of work in such areas. The Union field representative may confer with employees, including designated Union representatives or stewards.
Field Representative. If CONSULTANT provides field services or construction observation services, the presence of the CONSULTANT's field personnel will only be for the purpose of providing observation and field testing of specific aspects of the Project. Should a contractor be involved in the Project, the CONSULTANT's responsibility does not include the supervision or direction of the actual work of any contractor, its employees, or agents. All contractors should be so advised. Contractors should also be informed that neither the presence of the CONSULTANT's field representative nor the observation and testing by the CONSULTANT shall excuse contractor in any way for defects in contractor's work. It is agreed that the CONSULTANT will not be responsible for job or site safety on the Project and that the CONSULTANT does not have the right to stop the work of any contractor.
Field Representative. The Association field representative may for purposes of administering this Agreement meet with employees on the job, provided the appropriate supervisors are informed and no inordinate interruption of work is caused by such meeting.
Field Representative. An Authorized Person who is employed by LADWP and designated by that person’s Superintendent to receive Work Authorities and reissue them to Authorized Persons in charge of the work, and who originates Local Work Authorities on circuits and equipment under that person’s jurisdiction.
Field Representative. The Contractor shall designate a minimum of one (1) field supervisor that fluently speaks, reads and writes in English. This representative shall be available during the City’s work hours (Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM) to oversee work being performed, address concerns, or coordinate with City representatives. For convenience and efficiency, the Contractor shall provide his designee a mobile telephone device capable of sending and receiving text and email messages, making or receiving phone calls, retrieving voicemail messages, and taking work related photos. The Contractor shall be responsible for the payment of all charges relating to its use. The phone shall be kept operational and available to the City at all times.
Field Representative. The IUE-CWA field representative may for the purpose of administering this agreement meet with members on the job, provided the appropriate supervisors are informed prior to such meeting and no inordinate interruption of work is caused by such meeting. The president and/or their designee will be permitted to meet with their International Representative (periodically) on County time, without loss of pay. It is understood that this provision will not be misused. Business will be conducted as expeditiously as possible.
Field Representative. The Union Business Agent, or other designated Local representative, may, for the purposes of administering this Agreement, meet with individual members on the job, providing that no inordinate interruption of work is caused by such meeting.

Field Representative. A duly authorized Field Representative of the Union shall be permitted to enter the facility at reasonable times for the purpose of observing whether this Agreement is being observed or to check upon complaints of bargaining unit employees. The Field Representatives shall advise Human Resources of each upon entering the facility. If Human Resources Department is closed, the Union Representative will notify Security of their entry into the facility. The Union Representative will abide by patient confidentiality, infection control, and other Employer policies applicable to such areas. When at any of the Employer's facilities, the Union Representative will wear his/her Union Representative badge issued by the Employer. The Union Representative shall not interfere with the work of any employee. This shall not prevent a Union Representative from conferring with an employee and his/her supervisor or an Employer representative on Employer time in connection with a complaint or problem concerning the employee.
