Gas Control. (a) Should Seller elect to take its share of the residue gas volume in-kind as described in this Article, Seller shall provide all information deemed necessary to Buyer for gas control at least five (5) working days prior to the first day of each calendar month. Information shall include but not be limited to the following: Transporter Purchaser Transportation Service Contract Number Name and Phone Number of Seller’s Gas Control Contact Seller further agrees to be responsible for nominations to the transporting pipeline. Buyer agrees to be responsible for confirmation and delivery to the transporting pipeline. Under no circumstances shall Buyer be required to confirm or deliver more than the estimated available volume. (b) Buyer shall have the right to maintain an “over and short account” for residue gas deliveries for Seller’s account. The statement sent monthly to Seller shall identify any over or under deliveries for the current month and the cumulative over or under deliveries to Seller’s receiving pipeline. Buyer shall endeavor to keep the over and short volumes as much in balance as possible by making flow adjustments monthly. However, if upon termination of this Gas Purchase Contract, an imbalance exists, then Buyer shall have the option to pay Seller for a “short” balance over the subsequent three (3) months. Seller shall have the option to pay Buyer for an “over” balance at an average market price at the plant for the prior three (3) months or by delivering the “over” balance over the subsequent three (3) months. (c) Should Seller fail to establish a market for the disposition of Seller’s residue gas, Buyer shall have the right to market Seller’s allocated share of residue gas and pay ninety-five percent (95%) of the net proceeds to Seller from the sale by Buyer of Seller’s gas at the tailgate of the plant. Buyer shall retain five percent (5%) of the net proceeds from the sale of the Seller’s gas as Buyer’s fee for marketing Seller’s gas. (d) The right to take residue in-kind only applies to Seller including without limitation their subsidiaries or affiliates, and the interests they represent. Notwithstanding Article XIII, ROYALTY, Seller shall act as representative for subsequent distribution of gag and NGL products, or the value of such products, to any owners of royalties, working interest, production payments and the like. Gas Control. Perform gas control and dispatch responsibilities for the Project including, without limitation, dispatching and allocating daily scheduled nominations for the natural gas quantities to be received, transported and redelivered and responding to emergency conditions as necessary to assure safe operations;
Gas Control. The potential risks posed by landfill gas were described in Section 2. Landfills address the problems created by landfill gas by constructing and operating a gas collection and control system (GCCS). Most GCCS utilize gas ▇▇▇▇▇ placed within the waste (usually vertically, but sometimes horizontally) to provide a controlled exit point for gas to leave the landfill. When waste decomposes, gas pressures build up in the landfill, and the gas migrates to the surrounding environment following the path of least resistance (ideally installed gas ▇▇▇▇▇). At large landfills the ▇▇▇▇▇ are connected to a mechanical extraction system and the collected gas is either flared or used for energy production. At smaller sites, similar to those which operate in the US Pacific island territories, the gas ▇▇▇▇▇ provide passive venting of the landfill gas to the atmosphere, thus minimizing potential off-site migration of the gas through the surrounding soil. Installation of a GCCS is mandated by New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) of the Clean Air Act (CAA) rather than Subtitle D RCRA, and only for landfills with a design capacity >2.5 million metric tons with a predicted gaseous release of >50 Mg/year of nonmethane organic carbons (NMOCs). While some smaller remote, economically challenged community’s waste sites may not reach this threshold, a degree of gas control may be provided through the use of good cover soil practices. If active gas collection system is not required, communities may want to construct the gas ▇▇▇▇▇ as the waste is being filled, using locally available materials as presented in Figure 32. The figure shows a landfill site where gas ▇▇▇▇▇ have been constructed with rock kept in place with wire (similar to a rock gabion); a vent pipe is positioned in the center of the well. Waste is placed in the well as part of disposal operations, and when an appropriate waste height is reached, the well is extended upward. Other materials have been used in a similar fashion to construct gas ▇▇▇▇▇, including drums and tires.
Gas Control. Gas control, including maintaining a communications link between the Facilities and BPE’s gas control center(s) as currently maintained to allow BPE the capability to remotely control and monitor gas flows and pressures on the Facilities, monitor alarms and dispatch callouts as indicated and according to the standards established with PRB.
Gas Control. The gas control supplies process gas to the surface of the melt bath. The mass flow controller allows pre-programming and is variably controlled. Gas Control, consisting of: (1) Mass flow controller with variable control for process gas (1) Pneumatically controlled backfill valve (1) Pressure switch to monitor the supply line Instrumentation is suitable to work with Ar.

  • Erosion Control a. The Purchaser shall construct slash and debris erosion barriers, dips, water bars or ditches in skid trails and landings as directed by the Forest Officer. b. The kinds and frequency of erosion control structures shall be adjusted to soil types, topography and climatic conditions as directed by the Forest Officer. c. The Purchaser is required to recontour any excavated skid trails, and provide for effective erosion control in the trail location as directed by the Forest Officer. d. Erosion control work shall commence as soon as skidding is completed on each skid trail or landing, and must be kept current with unit operations. e. Erosion control work shall be completed and approved by the Forest Officer in unfinished units before operations cease for inactive periods including heavy winter snowfall, spring breakup and restricted dates. f. All erosion control work in each unit shall be completed prior to notification pursuant to Section VII.M.7.

  • Pollution Control The Employer and the Union agree to limit all forms of environmental pollution.

  • Pest Control Upon award, the Contractor shall manage all insect, weed and pest problems (as defined by Chapter 482, F.S.). In addition, any damage caused by pests during the implementation of the pest control program shall be immediately corrected by replacement with healthy turf or plants at the Contractor's expense. Pest Control program shall include, at a minimum, the following: 1) The Contractor shall inspect the entire property, including turf areas, shrubs, trees (including palms), and plants on a weekly basis for any pest infestation. All infestations, including disease, weeds, fire ants or other pests, shall be treated immediately upon discovery and notification by Performance Administrator or the Contractor. The County Performance Administrator must be informed of infestations discovered and treatments applied via email within 24 hours and included on the Monthly Vendor Inspection Report. All applications of pesticides shall be properly labeled by placards. 2) Application must comply with manufacturer’s recommendations. Every chemical substance used must be on the list of chemical substances or have been submitted for inclusion on such list, as compiled by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) pursuant to the Toxic Substances Control Act and in compliance with all Federal, State, and local pesticide laws and ordinances. Materials and application shall meet all Federal Health and Safety Laws currently in effect. Safety Data Sheets (SDS) must be submitted in writing two (2) days prior to contract start date or before the use of a new approved chemical intended for use on this contract. All chemicals used must carry an EPA approved number. 3) Pest Control Services shall be performed according to Integrated Pest Management Strategies to control all insect, wee, and pest problems as defined by all sections under Chapter 482, Florida Statues including proper licensure whether by the Contractor or a sub- contractor to be supplied with pre-bid package.

  • Traffic Control The Surveyor shall control traffic in and near surveying operations adequately to comply with provisions of the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI which can be found on the State’s internet site. In the event field crew personnel must divert traffic or close traveled lanes, a Traffic Control Plan based upon principles outlined in the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI shall be prepared by the Surveyor and approved by the State prior to commencement of field work. A copy of the approved plan shall be in the possession of field crew personnel on the job site at all times and shall be made available to the State’s personnel for inspection upon request.

  • Erosion Prevention and Control Purchaser’s Operations shall be conducted reasonably to minimize soil erosion. Equipment shall not be operated when ground conditions are such that excessive damage will result. Purchaser shall adjust the kinds and intensity of erosion control work done to ground and weather condi- tions and the need for controlling runoff. Erosion control work shall be kept current immediately preceding ex- pected seasonal periods of precipitation or runoff.
