General Interconnection Requirements. (a) The interconnection of a generating facility with the electrical company's electric system, the modification of a generating facility that is currently interconnected to the elec- trical company's electric system, or the modification of an existing interconnection must meet all minimum technical specifications applicable, in their most current approved ver- sion, as set forth in WAC ▇▇▇-▇▇▇-▇▇▇. General Interconnection Requirements. The following provisions apply to all Customer Generators requesting interconnection to the Company’s system.
General Interconnection Requirements. 3.1.1. The Parties will maintain the existing POIs already established as of Effective Date of this Agreement. 3.1.2. Multiple POI(s) may be necessary to satisfy interconnection requirements. 3.1.3. Verizon Wireless and CenturyLink shall, where applicable, make reciprocally available the required trunk groups to handle different traffic types. Verizon Wireless and CenturyLink will support the provisioning of trunk groups that carry combined or separate Local Traffic. 3.1.4. Each Party agrees to route traffic only over the proper jurisdictional trunk group. 3.1.5. The Parties will interconnect their networks via Direct Interconnection or via Indirect Interconnection, as described in sections 3.2 and 3.3. Where a CenturyLink tandem exists, Verizon Wireless must establish a POI at the tandem, as described in Section 3.2.3.
General Interconnection Requirements. The unique requirements of each generation interconnection will dictate the establishment of mutually agreeable Interconnection Guidelines that further define the requirements of this Interconnection and Operating Agreement. The Interconnection Guidelines will address, but not be limited to, the following:
General Interconnection Requirements. 1. SPC shall design, construct, install, own and maintain all equipment (including the Transmission Line), other than Penelec's billing meters and monitoring equipment specified in this AGREEMENT, required to generate and deliver electric energy to SPC's side of the Delivery Point. SPC shall furnish, install, operate and maintain facilities such as, but not limited to, the Transmission Line, relays, switches, circuit breakers, synchronizing equipment, control and protective devices determined by the Company to be necessary for parallel operation with Penelec's electrical system. 2. All facilities on Penelec's side of the Delivery Point necessary to provide the electrical connection from SPC to Penelec's electrical system, and any transmission, distribution and/or substation additions required to accept the electric energy produced by SPC including, but not limited to, transmission or distribution lines, circuit breakers, controls and relaying as specified by Penelec, will be provided by Penelec. The estimated costs, both direct and indirect, including, but not limited to material and labor, of said facilities shall be borne by SPC. All such payments shall be made in full to the Company prior to the commencement of construction of said facilities. 3. Within one hundred eighty (180) days of completion of the facilities described in Section G, paragraph 2, Penelec shall send SPC in writing a statement showing the difference between said estimated costs and Penelec's actual costs for construction, installation, etc. of said facilities. In the event the actual costs of said facilities exceed the estimated costs, SPC shall pay the difference to Penelec within thirty (30) days of the statement date. In the event the actual costs are less than the estimated costs, Penelec shall refund the difference to SPC within thirty (30) days of the statement date. 4. SPC shall comply in all respects with Penelec's "Protection Requirements -- Customer-Owned Generation," marked as Appendix 5 attached hereto and made a part hereof. 5. At least sixty (60) days prior to the commencement of construction of the Facility and the Transmission Line, SPC shall submit interconnection plans and specifications (including single line diagrams and control and protective relay schemes as well as plans and specifications for the Transmission Line) to Penelec for inspection and acceptance. 6.   • Interconnection Request The Interconnection Customer’s request, in accordance with the Tariff, to interconnect a new Small Generating Facility, or to materially increase the capacity of, or make a material modification to the operating characteristics of, an existing Small Generating Facility that is interconnected with the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System. For the purposes of this Agreement, this definition of Interconnection Request shall supersede the definition of Interconnection Request set out in Attachment X to the ISO OATT. Interconnection Study – Any study required to be performed under Sections 32.2 or 32.3 of the SGIP. Material Modification – A modification that has a material impact on the cost or timing of any Interconnection Request with a later queue priority date. New York State Transmission System – The entire New York State electric transmission system, which includes: (i) the Transmission Facilities under ISO Operational Control; (ii) the Transmission Facilities Requiring ISO Notification; and (iii) all remaining transmission facilities within the New York Control Area. NYISO Deliverability Interconnection Standard – The standard that must be met, unless otherwise provided for by Attachment S to the ISO OATT, by (i) any generation facility larger than 2MW in order for that facility to obtain ▇▇▇▇; (ii) any Class Year Transmission Project proposing to interconnect to the New York State Transmission System and receive Unforced Capacity Delivery Rights; (iii) any entity requesting External ▇▇▇▇ Rights, and (iv) any entity requesting a ▇▇▇▇ transfer pursuant to Section 25.9.5 of Attachment S to the ISO OATT. To meet the NYISO Deliverability Interconnection Standard, the Interconnection Customer must, in accordance with the rules in Attachment S to the ISO OATT, fund or commit to fund any System Deliverability Upgrades identified for its project in the Class Year Deliverability Study. NYISO Minimum Interconnection Standard – The reliability standard that must be met by any generation facility or Class Year Transmission Project that is subject to NYISO’s Large Facility Interconnection Procedures in Attachment X to the ISO OATT or the NYISO’s Small Generator Interconnection Procedures in this Attachment Z, that is proposing to connect to the New York State Transmission System or Distribution System, to obtain ERIS. The Minimum Interconnection Standard is designed to ensure reliable access by the proposed project to the New York State Transmission System or to the Distribution System. The Minimum Interconnection Standard does not impose any deliverability test or deliverability requirement on the proposed interconnection. Operating Requirements – Any operating and technical requirements that may be applicable due to Regional Transmission Organization, Independent System Operator, control area, or the Connecting Transmission Owner’s requirements, including those set forth in the Small Generator Interconnection Agreement. Operating Requirements shall include Applicable Reliability Standards. Party or Parties – The NYISO, Connecting Transmission Owner, Interconnection Customer or any combination of the above. Point of Interconnection – The point where the Interconnection Facilities connect with the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System. Reasonable Efforts – With respect to an action required to be attempted or taken by a Party under this Agreement, efforts that are timely and consistent with Good Utility Practice and are otherwise substantially equivalent to those a Party would use to protect its own interests. Small Generating Facility – The Interconnection Customer’s facility, no larger than 20 MW for the production and/or storage for later injection of electricity identified in the Interconnection Request if proposing to interconnect to the New York State Transmission System or Distribution System, but shall not include (i) facilities proposing to simply receive power from the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System; (ii) facilities proposing to interconnect to the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System made solely for the purpose of generation with no wholesale sale for resale nor to net metering; (iii) facilities proposing to the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System made solely for the purpose of net metering; (iv) facilities proposing to interconnect to LIPA’s distribution facilities; and (v) the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities. A facility will be treated as a single Small Generating Facility if all units within the facility are behind a single facility meter, even if such units are different technology types. System Deliverability Upgrades – The least costly configuration of commercially available components of electrical equipment that can be used, consistent with Good Utility Practice and Applicable Reliability Requirements, to make the modifications or additions to the existing New York State Transmission System that are required for the proposed project to connect reliably to the system in a manner that meets the NYISO Deliverability Interconnection Standard for Capacity Resource Interconnection Service. System Upgrade Facilities – The least costly configuration of commercially available components of electrical equipment that can be used, consistent with Good Utility Practice and Applicable Reliability Requirements to make the modifications to the existing transmission system that are required to maintain system reliability due to: (i) changes in the system, including such changes as load growth and changes in load pattern, to be addressed in the form of generic generation or transmission projects; and (ii) proposed interconnections. In the case of proposed interconnection projects, System Upgrade Facilities are the modification or additions to the existing New York State Transmission System that are required for the proposed project to connect reliably to the system in a manner that meets the NYISO Minimum Interconnection Standard. Tariff – The NYISO’s Open Access Transmission Tariff, as filed with the FERC, and as amended or supplemented from time to time, or any successor tariff. Trial Operation shall mean the period during which Interconnection Customer is engaged in on- site test operations and commissioning of the Small Generating Facility prior to Commercial Operation. Upgrades – The required additions and modifications to the Connecting Transmission Owner’s portion of the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System at or beyond the Point of Interconnection. Upgrades may be System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades Distribution Upgrades. Upgrades do not include Interconnection Facilities.

  • Construction Requirements (a) All Life and Safety and applicable Building Codes will be strictly enforced (i.e., tempered glass, fire dampers, exit signs, smoke detectors, alarms, etc.). Prior coordination with the Building Manager is required. (b) Electric panel schedules must be brought up to date identifying all new circuits added. (c) All electrical outlets and lighting circuits are to be properly identified. Outlets will be labeled on back side of each cover plate. (d) All electrical and phone closets being used must have panels replaced and doors shut at the end of each day’s work. Any electrical closet that is opened with the panel exposed must have a work person present. (e) All electricians, telephone personnel, etc. will, upon completion of their respective projects, pick up and discard their trash leaving the telephone and electrical rooms clean. If this is not complied with, a clean-up will be conducted by the building janitors and the general contractor will be back-charged for this service. (f) Welding or burning with an open flame will not be done without prior approval of the Building Manager. Fire extinguishers must be on hand at all times. (g) All “anchoring” of walls or supports to the concrete are not to be done during normal working hours (7:30 AM—6:00 PM, Monday through Friday). This work must be scheduled before or after these hours during the week or on the weekend. (h) All core drilling is not to be done during normal working hours (7:30 AM—6:00 PM, Monday through Friday). This work must be scheduled before or after these hours during the week or on the weekend. (i) All HVAC work must be inspected by the Building Engineer. (i) A preliminary inspection of the HVAC work in progress will be scheduled through the Building Office prior to the reinstallation of the ceiling grid. (ii) A second inspection of the HVAC operation will also be scheduled through the Building Office and will take place with the attendance of the HVAC contractor’s Air Balance Engineer. This inspection will take place when the suite in question is ready to be air-balanced. (iii) The Building Engineer will inspect the construction on a periodic basis as well. (j) All existing thermostats, ceiling tiles, lighting fixtures and air conditioning grilles shall be saved and turned over to the Building Engineer.

  • Food Service Waste Reduction Requirements Contractor shall comply with the Food Service Waste Reduction Ordinance, as set forth in San Francisco Environment Code Chapter 16, including but not limited to the remedies for noncompliance provided therein.
