Graveyard Shift Differential. For purposes of this section, “graveyard shift” differential shall be defined as an assigned work shift of 7 or more consecutive hours which includes at least 4 hours of work between the hours of 12:00 a.m. (midnight) and 8:00 a.m. Shift differential will be paid to employees assigned to swing and/or graveyard shifts only. Overtime which is worked as an extension of an assigned shift shall not qualify an employee for shift differential.
Graveyard Shift Differential. All employees regularly scheduled to work graveyard shift shall receive an additional five percent (5%) added to their base wage for all time worked. Graveyard shift shall be considered any shift regularly scheduled to start between 2000 hours and 2400 hours. Employees assigned to non-graveyard shifts who temporarily work graveyard shifts for less than one (1) continuous month (such as for a shift trade) or who work overtime hours during the denoted hours will not receive shift differential pay.
Graveyard Shift Differential. Employees assigned to work the graveyard shift (defined as 11:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.) will receive an additional $1.00 per hour for each hour worked during the graveyard shift.
Graveyard Shift Differential. An employee who works a shift of which at least three (3) hours are between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. shall receive an additional two and one-half percent (2.5%) of base salary as shift differential for that shift, and for hours continuous to that shift.

Employees assigned to work 90% or more of their hours between the hours of 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. on one or more shifts shall receive a shift differential of 2.5% of base pay for all hours worked. b. Employees regularly assigned to work 90% or more of their hours between the hours of 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. shall continue to receive the 2.5% shift differential even when they work shifts that would otherwise not qualify for shift differential payments. c. Employees whose normal work shift does not qualify for graveyard shift differential shall receive graveyard shift differential when working a qualifying shift (90% or more of the hours are between the hours of 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Graveyard Shift Differential a. Employees regularly assigned to work graveyard shift (i.e. 5 or more contiguous hours) shall receive a shift differential of 5% of base pay for all hours worked. b. Employees assigned to work swing shift shall receive a shift differential of 2.5% of base pay for all hours worked, and this excludes employees on the relief shift. c. Any employee assigned to work the full graveyard or swing shift shall be eligible to receive the appropriate shift differential. d. This is not intended to be paid to employees who work partial hours in these shifts, however, leave time does not preclude shift pay.

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration. This shift differential shall not apply to those employees who have requested and have been granted flexible work scheduling.

  • Night Shift Differential Unit 12 employees who regularly work shifts shall receive a night shift differential as set forth below: A. Employees shall qualify for the first night shift pay differential of forty (40) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift falls between 6 p.m. and 12 midnight. B. Employees shall qualify for the second night shift pay differential of fifty (50) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. C. A "regularly scheduled work shift" are those regularly assigned work hours established by the department director or designee.

  • Shift Differentials 18.1 Employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 1400 and 2159 hours shall receive a shift differential of seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour, and employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of eighty cents (80¢) per hour. Effective January 1, 2005, for employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of one dollar ($1) per hour. Overtime shall not be calculated on the shift differential nor shall the shift differential be paid for paid absence from duty such as vacations, general holidays, etc.

  • Night Differential An employee shall be paid a night differential, bi-weekly for hours worked between midnight and 7:00 a.m. at a rate of $3.00 per hour. Night differential worked during overtime will be paid at one and one-half (1 ½) times $3.00 and on statutory holidays at two (2) times $3.00.

  • Shift Differential Pay A $2.50 per hour payment shall be paid to any employee assigned regularly established shift differential assignments. For purposes of this Section, shift differential hours are 5:00 P.M. to 8:30 A.M. and all day Saturday and Sunday. Shift differential is a premium payment and is, therefore, included in the computation of overtime. The schedule for employees working a flex time or compressed schedule shall not be considered shift differential hours.
