In Charge Allowance. (a) A registered nurse who is designated to be in charge during the day, evening or night of a residential aged care facility shall be paid in addition to his or her appropriate salary, whilst so in charge, the per shift allowance set out in Item 8 (for less than 100 beds) or Item 9 (for 100 or more beds) of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement.
(b) A registered nurse who is designated to be in charge of a shift in a section of a residential aged care facility shall be paid in addition to his or her appropriate salary, the per shift allowance set out in Item 10 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement.
(c) This sub-clause shall not apply to registered nurses holding classified positions of a higher grade than a registered nurse.

In Charge Allowance. A Charge Hand, designated as such by an authorized representative of the Board, shall be paid an In-Charge Allowance of thirty-eight ($.38) cents per hour.

In Charge Allowance. 33.1 An RN who is designated by Estia Health on the roster to be “in charge” during a given shift will, in addition to their usual duties, be responsible during the shift for ensuring an appropriate level of care is provided by Estia Health’s staff to a particular group of residents.
33.2 For an “in charge” shift, an RN will be entitled to the appropriate allowance specified in Schedule 4 – Allowance Rates, determined by the number of residents for whose care the RN is designated in charge.

In Charge Allowance. Employees party to this agreement, when placed in an "In Charge" position by management, will be paid a further $25.00 per duty while engaged in such work.
