Inside Work. For all inside work it is agreed that for the purpose of safety and protection of personnel and property and where glass is more difficult or dangerous to handle, the Employer will use additional employees required for safety.
Inside Work. A. The Vendor performing work under this Agreement shall have a minimum of ten (10) years experience with inside telephone cable plant installation and maintenance. Of the ten (10) years experience, at least five (5) years shall have been either under contract with a regulated telephone company or in contract of a company which performed work for a regulated telephone company. Such experience shall be demonstrated by the Vendor providing a list of at least three (3) references for whom the Vendor has provided installation and maintenance services during the past year. B. The Vendor shall have a working knowledge of all current telephone industry wiring, installation, and maintenance practices for inside cable plant. Such knowledge and experience will be demonstrated by submission of resumes to Communications Services prior to assignment of the employee for work under this agreement. Communications Services retains the right to reject the services of any Vendor employee for grounds related to experience or performance. C. Vendor shall have demonstrated experience with the installation, maintenance and repair of both 10A2 and digital key systems. Such experience shall be demonstrated by the Vendor providing a list of at least three (3) references for whom the Vendor has provided installation and maintenance services during the past year. D. The Vendor shall have a working knowledge and demonstrated experience in the design, placement, termination and testing of EIA/TIA-568 wiring systems. Further, such knowledge and experience shall include application of EIA Technical Services Bulletins TSB-36 and TSB-40 for EIA/TIA-568A installations. Such knowledge and experience shall be demonstrated by the Vendor providing employee resumes and a list of at least five (5) references for whom the Vendor has provided EIA/TIA Category 5 wiring services. E. Vendor shall have knowledge and experience in the testing of EIA/TIA-568, Category 5 wiring systems using automated test equipment. F. All materials for all inside cable work may be provided by the University for work performed under this agreement. Vendors shall draw materials from the Communications Services' parts room using procedures defined at the commencement of this contract. Vendors shall assume full inventory and financial responsibility for all parts drawn from the campus during an installation or repair procedure. G.   • Outside Work All work necessary to the assembling, installation, erection, operation, maintenance, repair, control, in- spection and supervision of all electrical apparatus, devices, wires, cables, supports, insulators, conduc- tors, ducts and raceways when part of distributing systems outside of buildings, railroads and outside the directly related railroad property and yards. In- stalling and maintaining the catenary and trolley work on railroad property, and bonding of rails. All underground ducts and cables when they are in- stalled by and are part of the system of a distrib- uting company, except in power stations during new construction, including ducts and cables to adjacent switch racks or substations. All outdoor substations and electrical connections up to and including the setting of transformers and the connecting of the secondary buses thereto. Outside work to include renewable electrical energy sources such as solar photovoltaic, geothermal, wind, biomass, wave, etc., and other distributed en- ergy installations such as fuel cells, microturbines, etc.

  • Creative Work The Executive agrees that all creative work and work product, including but not limited to all technology, business management tools, processes, software, patents, trademarks, and copyrights developed by the Executive during the term of this Agreement, regardless of when or where such work or work product was produced, constitutes work made for hire, all rights of which are owned by the Employer. The Executive hereby assigns to the Employer all rights, title, and interest, whether by way of copyrights, trade secret, trademark, patent, or otherwise, in all such work or work product, regardless of whether the same is subject to protection by patent, trademark, or copyright laws.

  • Unsafe Work An employee may exercise their right to refuse to do unsafe work pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations outlined in Information Appendix B. An employee must not be subject to discriminatory or disciplinary action pursuant to Section 3.13(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations outlined in Information Appendix B.

  • Shift Work ‌ (1) Except as varied by this Clause, all other aspects of Section 4 of the Agreement shall apply to the working of shift work. (2) The Company has the right to direct Employees to work shift work as required and the Employees shall work the shift work as directed. Shift work will be worked and paid for in accordance with this subclause. (3) Shift work is deemed to be any arrangement of Project Working Hours where the majority of the Ordinary Hours are worked outside of the spread of Ordinary Hours defined at clause 16 - Hours of Work of this Agreement and when Employees are working as such. (4) Ordinary Hours for shift Employees will comprise thirty-six (36) hours per week averaged over a defined work cycle and will not commence before 5.00pm on Sunday night. Such Ordinary Hours are the specified hours under each shift Employee's terms of employment by reference to which annual leave and personal/carer's leave accrue. (5) Prior to the commencement of shift work, the Company shall seek the agreement of the Employees involved. Failing agreement, the Company will provide to the Employees concerned one (1) week's notice of the commencement of shift work and the starting and finishing times of Ordinary Hours of the shifts. (6) Where less than five (5) consecutive shifts are worked then Employees shall be paid at overtime rates in lieu of the shift loading prescribed at subclause (7) of this clause. The consecutive nature of shifts will not be deemed to be broken if work is not carried out on a Saturday, Sunday, RDO or on any public holiday. (7) A shift Employee shall receive a flat loading of twenty-five (25) percent of their Ordinary Hourly Rate for each hour worked. (8) Employees working night shift shall be entitled to stop work for a half-hour without deduction of pay for the purpose of taking a meal break. (9) The Company may stagger the times for Employees to take meal breaks to meet operational requirements. (10) The Company shall structure the Project Working Hours for Employees working night shift to include one (1) half-hour rest break to be taken without deduction of pay by Employees working the Project Working Hours on any night shift.

  • Project Work PURCHASER shall complete the following projects in accordance with the specifications provided in Exhibits B, C, D, E, and F and written instructions from STATE. Project locations are shown on Exhibit A unless otherwise described. PURCHASER shall furnish all material unless otherwise specified.
