This expectation would be equivalent to an average over time of two (2) patients per day. Sonographers at this level are expected to assist in ensuring efficient service delivery at their rostered sites. This includes; • Monitoring bookings appropriately and ensuring rooms are used in a productive manner • Accommodating urgent and fit-in procedures where appropriate • Willingness to provide some assistance with supervision of junior staff and students In addition to the requirements of Advanced Level 1, Employees are expected to; • Regularly and routinely supervise junior staff and students • Participate in the training program as set out by the Chief Sonographer/Regional Manager. For the avoidance of doubt, Employees at this level have been deemed competent by the Chief Sonographer/Regional Manager to fulfil this role and regularly provide feedback to both trainee and regional leaders on progression and continued areas of need. • Willingness to participate in specialised ultrasound services which may include but not limited to; advanced vascular or breast clinics. Competency to be assessed by Chief Sonographer and Radiologist • Willingness to scan unusual or unique ultrasound examinations not listed in the skill sets. • Employees at this level are willing and able to regularly accommodate urgent and fit in scans where appropriate.
