Latex Sensitivity Clause Samples

The Latex Sensitivity clause establishes protocols to address and manage the presence of latex-containing materials in a given environment, typically to protect individuals with latex allergies. This clause may require notification of latex use, substitution with non-latex alternatives, or implementation of specific safety measures in workplaces, healthcare settings, or public facilities. Its core function is to minimize the risk of allergic reactions and ensure a safe environment for those with latex sensitivities.
Latex Sensitivity. Employees who are concerned that they may be latex-sensitive and/or those identified as latex-sensitive by a physician should present appropriate documentation to Employee Health. Such employees shall be provided readily available non-latex gloves/products for purposes of performing their assigned work duties.
Latex Sensitivity. (a) Latex sensitivity constitutes a risk for both students and staff. The parties agree that lowering the exposure risk is of benefit to students and to CSS and its staff. Where appropriate and an equivalent product is available at a reasonable cost, non-latex products will be available for use. (b) LPNs who have been identified as latex-sensitive by any physician shall be accommodated and provided modified work assignments as needed, where reasonably available.
Latex Sensitivity. If a nurse requires an accommodation for latex sensitivity, the UMMS is committed to make every reasonable effort to provide that accommodation.
Latex Sensitivity. The parties agree that latex sensitivity can affect both patients and staff and that lowering the exposure risk is of benefit to the Employer, patients and staff. To this end, the Employer is committed to reducing the use of latex products in the workplace and its efforts include making non-latex (powder free) products available to the extent their usage is appropriate. In addition, the Employer will continue the annual latex questionnaire. In the event the employee reasonably believes that they may have developed a latex sensitivity at work, the employee will complete an incident report and report to Associate Health Service for evaluation. Any testing or treatment associated with this evaluation will be at no cost to the employee if performed at Sparrow. If the employee is determined to have a latex allergy that prevents the employee from performing the duties of the employee’s position, the Employer will reasonably accommodate the employee, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Such reasonable accommodations may include modified work assignments or transfer to an available position the employee is able to perform.
Latex Sensitivity. Nurses who are concerned that they may be latex-sensitive and/or those identified as latex-sensitive by a LIP should present appropriate documentation to Employee Health. Such nurses shall be provided readily available non-latex gloves/products for purposes of performing their assigned work duties.
