Leave of Absence: Union Conventions and Educational Programs. (a) The Employer, upon receipt of written notice from the Union, shall grant leaves of absence, without pay, to employees who are elected as delegates to attend Union conventions, education programs (up to a maximum of one (1) month) or as members of a negotiating committee.
