LIMITATIONS ON LEAVE. No leave of absence or combination of leaves of absence provided for in this Agreement for any cause whatsoever shall exceed one (1) year. Any such absence will cause the Police Captain to be automatically separated from the Department on the anniversary from the date such absence began.
LIMITATIONS ON LEAVE. Any leave commenced more than five (5) weeks prior to the end of a school year and of at least three (3) weeks duration may not end during the last three (3) weeks of the school year except with the approval of the superintendent. Any leave commenced less than five (5) weeks prior to the end of the school year and of at least two (2) weeks duration may not end during the last two (2) weeks of the school year except with the approval of the superintendent. Any leave commenced less than three (3) weeks prior to the end of the school year and greater than five (5) days duration shall continue until the end of the school year unless return during that school year has the approval of the superintendent. 309 AESOP AND SUBSTITUTES Members shall be provided the opportunity to request preferences via the AESOP system, or any other system that may replace it, for substitute teachers of their choice.

LIMITATIONS ON LEAVE. 12.9.5.3.1 Leave to care for a newborn or newly placed child must conclude within twelve (12) months after the birth or placement of the child. 12.9.5.3.2 When both parents are employed by the City, they are together entitled to a combined total of twelve (12) workweeks of FMLA/CFRA leave within the designated 12 month period for the birth, adoption or ▇▇▇▇▇▇ care placement of a child with the employees, for aftercare of the newborn or newly placed child, and to care for a parent (but not in-law) with a serious health condition. Each spouse may be entitled to additional FMLA/CFRA leave for other FMLA/CFRA qualifying reasons (i.e., the difference between the leave taken individually for any of the above reasons and 12 workweeks, but not more than a total of 12 workweeks per person).
LIMITATIONS ON LEAVE. A. No leave of absence or combination of leaves of absences for any cause whatsoever, including sick leave, injury leave, funeral leave, etc. shall exceed one (1) year. In the case of continuous absence from duty of any Officer, for any cause whatsoever, of more than one (1) year duration, such Officer so absent shall be automatically retired from the Department on the first anniversary date from the date such absence began except if the leave period is extended at the sole discretion of the City pursuant to Article V, Section C.
LIMITATIONS ON LEAVE. Personal leave is provided to permit a bargaining unit member with a means of dealing with personal matters that cannot be handled except during school hours. A member of the bargaining unit shall not use personal leave for:

This Police Officer must be notified by Certified Mail at least fourteen (14) days prior to termination and is entitled to all separation compensation due him/her.
LIMITATIONS ON LEAVE a. No more than three (3) teachers assigned to a building, or ten percent (10%) of the teachers assigned to a building, whichever is greater, shall be on personal leave from any building per day. Personal leave shall not be used for other employment. b. Personal Leave shall not be used on the following days unless approved by the Superintendent: 1). The first and last work and student days of school 2). The school day preceding or following a day(s) when school is closed for the holidays. 3). Professional conference, in-service, or parent conference days. c. During the first two weeks and the last four weeks of the school year, any use of personal leave is restricted to the following reasons: 1). Family Responsibility such as: Wedding Graduation Transportation of a family member Child-care non-illness Moving Religious holiday 2). Legal Matters such as: Court cases Witness at a trial or court hearing Meeting with a lawyer Purchase or settlement of an estate 3). Unforeseen Emergencies such as: Funerals not covered by sick leave
LIMITATIONS ON LEAVE. The Town of Merrimack may limit the leave provided under this policy if the employee’s leave creates an undue hardship to the Town of Merrimack’s business.
