Loadings Clause Samples
The 'Loadings' clause defines how additional costs or charges, known as loadings, are applied to the base price or rate in a contract. Typically, this clause specifies the circumstances under which loadings may be added, such as for overtime work, hazardous conditions, or special equipment requirements, and outlines the method for calculating these extra charges. By clearly detailing when and how loadings are imposed, the clause ensures transparency in pricing and helps prevent disputes over unexpected or ambiguous cost increases.
