Mechanic Tool Allowance. NON-PERSABLE 1. Effective the first full pay period after January 1st, the City shall provide unit employees in the following classifications six hundred dollars ($600) per calendar year for tools purchased within the same calendar year: Fleet Services Supervisor Senior Fleet Services Technician Fleet Services Technician Welder Senior Welder Electronic Fleet Services Technician The City shall provide unit employees in the Fleet Services Assistance classification five hundred dollars ($500) per calendar year for tools purchased within the same calendar year. 2. For these mechanic job classifications, certain journey-level tools are to be maintained by the unit employees. 3. If these mechanic tools are broken during the normal course of work, they will be replaced at the City’s expense. 4. If the mechanic tools are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty replacement, this warranty will supersede the City replacing the tool. 5. If the unit employee provides the Fleet Services Manager a tool inventory, and maintains this inventory with regular updates, the City will replace the tool free of charge when a specific tool is lost or stolen, upon submission of proof of ownership.
Mechanic Tool Allowance. Upon presentation of a receipt(s) each June 1 and December 1, the City will directly reimburse the cost of tool purchases for each Heavy Motor Mechanic up to $1,000 per year. Garage Service Persons will be permitted to bring their own tools to work. Upon presentation of receipts, each June 1 and December 1, the City will directly reimburse the cost of tool purchases up to $550 per year.

  • Tool Allowance (a) A tool allowance as set in the relevant Wage Tables in Appendix A per week shall be paid for all purposes to:- (i) Electrical workers at Grade EW 5 and beyond; (ii) Electrical workers performing the duties of: (A) Television Antenna Installer/Erector; (B) Television/Radio/Electronic Equipment Servicemen; and (iii) Apprentices - Contained within the relevant Apprentice Wage Rates.

  • Allowance (a) Landlord agrees to provide an allowance of up to $80,000, to install, supply and otherwise to construct the Tenant Improvements in the Premises that will become a part of the Building (the "Tenant Improvement Allowance"). Tenant is fully responsible for the payment of all costs in connection with the Tenant Improvements in excess of the Tenant Improvement Allowance for additional costs incurred in the upfit that are approved by Tenant in writing. The Tenant Improvement Allowance may not be used by Tenant as an offset against any rent payments due hereunder. Tenant will be billed for such costs and expenses as follows and will pay said costs and expenses within thirty (30) days of invoice: (i) fifty percent (50%) of such costs and expenses shall be due and payable within 30 days of receipt of an invoice after Tenant's approval of the cost estimates for the Tenant Improvements; (ii) forty-five percent (45%) of such costs and expenses shall be due and payable within 30 days of receipt of an invoice after such work is substantially completed and the Premises are ready for delivery to Tenant; (iii) five percent (5%) of such costs and expenses shall be due and payable within 30 days of receipt of an invoice after final completion of all punch list items. Failure of Tenant to remit any payment required by this subsection (b) shall be a default hereunder and shall be treated hereunder in the same manner as a default of Tenant in paying Base Rent hereunder. (c) Unless otherwise specified in the Plans, materials used by Tenant in its upfit at the Building shall be customary for this type of upfit and Building and readily available in the market where the Building is located, all as reasonably determined by Landlord. (d) The Final Plans are included on Exhibit B. (e) Should Tenant default under this Exhibit, Landlord shall have the right to cease all work under this Exhibit until such time as Tenant shall cure any such default and any delay in Tenant commencing and completing any such cure shall be a delay by Tenant under this Exhibit.

  • Uniform Allowance ‌ If the Employer requires an employee to supply and/or maintain specified clothing in place of a uniform which would otherwise be supplied and maintained for jobs involving the direct care of patients/residents, then a clothing/maintenance allowance of ten dollars ($10.00) per bi-weekly pay period shall be paid. This allowance does not apply to non-patient/non-resident areas.
