Merit Increments. 14.3.1 All salary increments (as distinct from negotiated salary adjustments) are not automatic, and are awarded on the basis of meritorious performance of the duties assigned pursuant to Article 12 and according to the Procedures Pertaining to the Annual Assessment of Academic Staff recommended by the General Promotions Committee and approved by the President. 14.3.2 The dollar value of merit increments for each rank is negotiated between the Governors and the Association. 14.3.3 Any dispute as to salary increments shall be resolved in accordance with General Promotions Committee procedures.
Merit Increments. Maintain existing formulae for determining the Merit Increments pools available to FEC (1.2 per eligible FAC and FSO, respectively), LIB (1.2 per eligible LIB), ATSEC (1.2 per eligible ATS), and APOs (1.1 per eligible APO).
Merit Increments. May be granted as follows: For exceptional merit, increments of varying amounts may be granted beyond the regular salary increment. Such a special merit increment may be continued indefinitely or it may be granted for one year only. A list of teachers now receiving merit increments will be furnished to the Federation by October 1st of the contract year and reasons for the grant will be specified. Any additional awards made during the school year will be similarly furnished within fifteen (15) days of the award date.
Merit Increments. Unit members who have worked (a) worked in the School District for a minimum of five consecutive years, and (b) had consecutive annual performance evaluations of “excellent” in the two prior years, shall be entitled to receive Increments I through III on an accelerated basis, and shall also be eligible to receive Increment IV. Employees who meet these requirement shall receive the increments as follows: 11-15 Increment II $1,650 16-19 Increment III $2,550 20 Increment IV $3,000 The merit increment represents an early award of the next available service increment, but is not a “double” increment: in other words, an employee who is entitled to Increment II on the basis of service and has earned an early award of Increment III on the basis of merit will receive a total cumulative increment amount of $2,550. Merit-based increment are computed on a fiscal (school) year basis and not on an anniversary date basis, and the payment will be made in a lump sum in any payroll in June of the year when the employee qualifies for the merit increment. The continued receipt of any merit increment is contingent upon the continued receipt of “excellent” evaluations.
Merit Increments. A regular monthly unit member eligible for service increments in accordance with Section 8.1 and who is assigned to an exempt job class (those not eligible for premium overtime pay) and whose work performance is deemed to be outstanding may be granted a one (1) step salary increase at any time upon recommendation of the Deputy Administrative Officer, Human Resource Services Division, and approval by the Board of Education. In such instances, the Deputy Administrative Officer, Human Resource Services Division, or designee, will provide written notification to the Union. When such a merit increment has been granted, a new anniversary or annual increment due date will be established if such placement is at a step less than the maximum for the job class.
Merit Increments. The merit increments for the job classification of Dispatcher shall be based upon the employee having acquired the requisite time in grade and having a satisfactory employee evaluation.
Merit Increments. 1. With respect to 1997/98, the value of a single merit increment shall be $1,100 for Faculty members earning $65,222 or less. This increment shall take effect on September 1, 1999. 2. With respect to 1997/98, the value of a single merit increment shall be $800 for Faculty members earning more than $65,222. This increment shall take effect on September 1, 1999. 3. With respect to the 1998/99 and 1999/2000 service years, the value of a single merit increment shall be $1,000 regardless of salary level and shall be limited by the salary scale maxima (including the merit scale maxima for the Associate Professor and Professor ranks). These increments shall take effect on September 1, 1999 and September 1, 2000 respectively.

  • Merit Increases Merit increases shall be based on satisfactory service. Employees shall be eligible for in-range merit increases on their established anniversary date until such time they have reached the top step of the classification in which they are employed. The eligibility date, for the purpose of this section, shall be the date upon which the employees are granted their first in-range merit increase to the next step of their pay range. This eligibility date may be changed as a result of the timing of future in-range merit increases, promotions or reclassifications.

  • Longevity Increments 11.6.1 Each regular classified employee shall receive a two-range increase (5%) upon completion of five (5) years of satisfactory and continuous service. This increase will become effective at the beginning of the sixth year. 11.6.2 Each regular classified employee shall receive an additional two-range increase (5%) upon completion of ten (10) years of satisfactory and continuous service. This increase will become effective at the beginning of the eleventh year. 11.6.3 Each regular classified employee shall receive an additional two-range increase (5%) upon completion of fifteen (15) years of satisfactory and continuous service. This in-crease will become effective at the beginning of the sixteenth year.

  • Annual Increments ‌ 12.1 Employees will proceed to the maximum of their salary range by annual increments, after 12 months’ continuous service at each increment point, unless there is an adverse report on the Employee's performance or conduct which recommends the non-payment of an annual increment. 12.2 The following process will apply where a report on an Employee’s performance or conduct recommends the non-payment of an annual increment: (a) The Employee will be shown the report prior to completing 12 months’ continuous service since their last incremental advance; (b) The Employee will be provided with an opportunity to comment in writing; (c) The Employee’s comments will be considered immediately by the Employer and a decision made as to whether to approve the payment of the increment or withhold payment for a specific period; and (d) Where the increment is withheld, the Employer before the expiry of the specified period will complete a further report and the above provisions will apply. 12.3 The non-payment of an increment will not change the normal anniversary date of any further increment payments. 12.4 For the purposes of this clause "continuous service", except where an increment is payable according to age, will not include any period: (a) exceeding 14 calendar days during which an Employee is absent on Leave Without Pay. In the case of leave without pay which exceeds 14 calendar days the entire period of such Leave Without Pay is excised in full; (b) which exceeds six (6) months in one continuous period during which an Employee is absent on workers' compensation. Provided that only that portion of such continuous absence which exceeds six (6) months will not count as "continuous service"; and (c) which exceeds three (3) months in one (1) continuous period during which an Employee is absent on Personal Leave without pay. Provided that only that portion of such continuous absence which exceeds three (3) months will not count as "continuous service".

  • Step Increases (a) The following is the method used to determine service credit, since the last date of hire, for purposes of positioning on the salary range: i) all continuous service shall be retained and transferred with the employee if she/he changes her/his status from full-time to part- time and vice versa. ii) a part-time employee who changes status to full-time will be given credit on the basis of fifteen hundred (1500) paid hours of part- time being equivalent to one (1) year of full-time service and vice versa. iii) in addition, an employee who is so transferred will be given credit for paid hours accumulated since the date of last advancement. (b) Annual increments for full-time employees shall be paid on their anniversary date. (c) Annual increments for part-time employees shall be paid on the completion of each fifteen hundred (1500) hours worked.

  • Benefit Increases Benefit payments may be increased as provided in Section 2.1.3.
