Overtime Assignments. A. No a. For forty (40) hour employees, the parties agree to determine overtime eligibility on a work week basis, if mutually agreed upon by the employee and the supervisor.
b. The Department determines when overtime is to be worked and in what classification, consistent with good safety standards, and based on staffing requirements as detailed in the ELOG Roster Staffing manual. The ELOG Roster Staffing manual shall be performed without mutually updated by the approval of a supervisor Department and the Union. When non- emergency overtime is required, it shall be offered to regular employees by classification for the position needed. For emergency overtime, or acting supervisorwhen no one accepts voluntary, non-emergency overtime, the Department has the right to require an employee to report to work. Overtime Assignments. A. No The Company will maintain a Rotating Monthly Sign-Up List for Weekday overtime assignments. Every month a new Sign-Up List will be posted. Such lists will be posted for three days. When Weekday overtime has to be worked, employees in the classification on the shift who have signed the Rotating Monthly up List will be offered the overtime in accordance with their Seniority on the list. In offering overtime, Supervisors will rotate overtime opportunities in accordance with the list. In cases where all employees on the list decline the overtime, the most junior employee in the classification on the shift will be required to the work. Where there are students in that classification on the shift, the students will be the required to work shall the overtime before anyone else. As a remedy for employees who are accidentally bypassed for an overtime hours assignment, the employees bypassed will receive $2.00 an hour premium pay or be offered the next overtime pay opportunity. It is understood that the employee must point out this error to the appropriate Supervisor within three (3) days of the error. If the Company fails to provide the employee the next opportunity within the next (10) working days, the employee will be paid the lost overtime hours. The Company will continue its practice of offering qualified employees by seniority “outside of the classification” overtime assignments before forcing the junior qualified employees in the class. Notices of scheduled foreseen weekly overtime must be given at least one and one half times (1 ½1) their hourly rate day before on the shift it’s to be worked. The work notice for foreseen weekend overtime work must be given by 2:30 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the weekend. When possible, the Company will let the employees know on Wednesday. Part-time employees shall not be forced the need to work overtime. Employees must request premium pay with the working supervisor prior to the end of the applicable pay period. B. Short notice (less than twenty-four (24) hours) schedule vacancies will be offered to the employees by seniority from the off-going and on-coming shifts. Supervisors will elicit volunteers from off-going and call on-coming employees, in seniority order to attempt to fill the overtime. If the vacancy cannot be filled, then and only then will an employee (reverse seniority) from the off-going shift will be forced to work the first half of the vacancy and an employee (reverse seniority) from the on-coming shift will be forced to work the second half of vacancy. A forced overtime may be cancelled if a volunteer accepts the overtime hours and the employee being forced agrees to the overtime cancellation, with supervisor approval. Any full time employee working their day off, or any part time employee working, shall not be forced to work any additional hours. However, he/she may volunteer to work additional hours and will be asked in order of seniority first by full time employee and then by part time employee, once all regularly scheduled employees are asked and decline the overtime.
C. For vacancies more than twenty-four (24) hours notice: The employer shall post in the scheduling software any vacancies to include date and times to be filled. The vacancy shall first be offered to part-time employees. In the event the vacancy is not filled by part-time employees, vacancy shall be filled by seniority, first by an employee taking the whole vacancy who is regularly scheduled on the shift where the vacancy occurs; then by any other employee taking the whole vacancy. If no employee volunteers for the whole vacancy partial shifts will be assigned to volunteers by seniority. If the posting does not elicit volunteers before 72 hours then an employee (reverse seniority) from the off-going shift will be forced to work the first half of the vacancy and an employee (reverse seniority) from the on-coming shift will be forced to work the second half of the vacancy. A forced overtime may be cancelled if a volunteer accepts the overtime hours and the employee being forced agrees to the overtime cancellation, with supervisor approval.
D. Employees shall not be forced to work more than twelve (12) consecutive hours on a scheduled eight (8) hour day or fourteen (14) consecutive hours on a scheduled ten (10) hour day. Employees may volunteer for up to fourteen (14) consecutive hours if needed to fill a vacancy. If the Scott County Emergency Management Agency is activated employees shall not be forced to work more than sixteen (16) consecutive hours. In any case, employees must be allowed a minimum of eight (8) consecutive hours off from the end of one shift to the beginning of the next shift unless they are forced from the end of one shift and the beginning of the next shift, then employees must be allowed ten (10) consecutive hours off. Employees shall be allowed to flex their schedule during a week in which they have approved time off and work overtime, so long as it doesn’t create additional overtime.
E. Employees on approved leave and days off in conjunction with vacation shall not be required to accept overtime assignments except in cases of emergency, nor is the employer required to call during such leave for overtime distribution. If the employee accepts the call-in while on leave, the leave would be cancelled and the individual would be paid the applicable rate of pay.

Overtime Assignments. A. No The Company will maintain a Rotating Monthly Sign-Up List for Weekday overtime assignments. Every month a new Sign-Up List will be posted. Such lists will be posted for three days. When Weekday overtime has to be worked, employees in the classification on the shift who have signed the Rotating Monthly Sign- up List will be offered the overtime in accordance with their Seniority on the list. In offering overtime, Supervisors will rotate overtime opportunities in accordance with the list. In cases where all employees on the list decline the overtime, the most junior employee in the classification on the shift will be required to perform the work. Where there are students in that classification on the shift, the students will be the one(s) required to work shall the overtime before anyone else. When decreasing the number of employees on an overtime shift, in a particular classification, it will be performed without offered by seniority to those employees who were scheduled. Overtime in the approval forklift class will be offered to the forklift drivers. Separate Seniority Lists for overtime assignments will be maintained on a Yearly Rotating basis; on for Saturday and one for Sunday/Holiday. Overtime work that is created as a result of an absent employee will be assigned in accordance with the above paragraph if the absence is known about before the start of the last two hours of the shift, otherwise the junior qualified employee(s) will be assigned to work. Overtime Assignments. A. No a. The Department determines when overtime work is to be worked and in what classification, consistent with good safety standards, and based on staffing requirements as detailed in the ELOG Roster Staffing manual. The ELOG Roster Staffing manual shall be performed without mutually updated by the approval of a supervisor Department and the Union. When non-emergency overtime is required, it shall be offered to regular employees by classification for the position needed.
