Posting of Courses Sample Clauses
The "Posting of Courses" clause defines the requirements and procedures for making courses available or visible to users, typically on an educational platform or website. It usually specifies who is authorized to post courses, the approval process involved, and any standards or guidelines that must be met before a course is published. For example, it may require instructors to submit course materials for review before they are listed online. The core function of this clause is to ensure that only approved and compliant courses are made accessible to learners, thereby maintaining quality and consistency across the platform.
Posting of Courses. All courses shall be posted at least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance, through electronic e-mail, for seven (7) calendar days, to afford all interested employees an opportunity to apply. The posting shall contain the following:
(a) Type of course (subject material to be covered):
(b) Date and duration of course;
(c) Location of the course;
(d) Prerequisite set by the institution running the course (qualifications).
Posting of Courses. A Private Study course shall be subject to the posting provisions in the manner outlined in Article 10 except when a student specializing in a particular musical instrument registers for Private Study and requests a particular part-time faculty member.
Posting of Courses. The Department shall ensure that three (3) levels of courses for Directors and Designers shall be so identified on postings at the same time as all other courses are posted. Definitions of Levels 1-3 are provided below.
Posting of Courses a) Notification of available contract courses shall be posted on the University website. This posting shall also be communicated to all Members and to the Association.
b) The posting shall be sent to each Member by electronic mail at the address indicated by the Member and recorded in her or his personal file in the office of the Vice-Principal Academic. It is the Member's responsibility to make sure that her or his contact information is accurate.
c) This shall be done by April 30th for the fall and winter sessions and by January 31st for the spring and summer sessions. When additional courses are needed in unforeseen circumstances or in emergencies they shall be posted immediately and, when possible, not less than ten weeks before the date of their being offered.
d) Members must apply for available positions within seven (7) days of notification.
Posting of Courses a) The Employer and the Association agree that it is mutually beneficial to post, in the first instance, as many of the available part-time contracts as possible. There shall be three posting deadlines: February 1 for Summer courses; May 1 for Fall, Winter, and Fall/Winter courses; and October 1 for remaining Winter courses. A copy of the posting shall be sent to the Association by internal mail at the same time as it is posted in the Department/Unit. A copy of all course postings shall also be sent at the same time to the Office of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ by the deadlines indicated.
b) The February 1st posting shall include at least eighty (80%) per cent of all the part-time contracts planned to be offered during the coming summer semester. The May 1st posting shall include at least eighty (80%) per cent of all the part-time contracts planned to be offered during the coming fall, fall/winter and winter semesters. It is understood that courses/sections may be cancelled at a later date in accordance with Appendix C.
c) In the event that additional courses become available between the application periods (after May 15, October 15 and February 15), they shall be allocated as stipulated in Article 10.18 and Article 10.19.
d) Once posted, courses for part-time faculty members shall not be removed from the posting or assigned to a full-time faculty member or as a Reserve Course under Article 10.24. However, the parties may agree in writing to exchange a posted course for another course in the same academic year.
e) All course postings shall be standardized in the same format across the University.

Courses shall be distributed fairly among qualified Employees as determined by the Chief of Police. A list shall be posted on the bulletin board and/or by e-mail indicating the successful applicants.

The Village shall post on bulletin boards located at the Public Works and Water Departments Garage announcements of all courses to be given which are either compulsory for a segment of the staff or may be optional for the purpose of improving the professional standing of the Employee or the Department. If optional courses are to be reimbursed, all eligible staff members shall have an opportunity to bid for the optional courses. In the event that there are more bids than openings available, the senior personnel within the Department will be given preference, subject to any special requirements by the institution giving the course. The Superintendent of Public Works and the Water Department shall arrange all compulsory courses and training programs in such a manner, so any employee required to complete such course or participate in such training program shall be able to do so during his/her regularly scheduled working shift, whenever possible.
