Preventive Clause Samples

A Preventive clause is designed to proactively address and mitigate potential risks or issues before they arise in a contractual relationship. This type of clause typically outlines specific actions, standards, or procedures that parties must follow to avoid foreseeable problems, such as requiring regular maintenance, compliance with safety regulations, or the implementation of quality control measures. By establishing clear preventive measures, the clause helps ensure that both parties take necessary steps to minimize the likelihood of disputes, losses, or breaches, thereby promoting smoother contract performance and reducing the need for remedial action later.
