The Primary Training clause establishes the requirement for an individual or group to complete a specified initial training program before undertaking certain duties or responsibilities. Primary Training. No person shall be Deployed as a Sales Force member unless and until such person has received and successfully completed the training, certification and testing set forth in this Section 5.8 (the “Primary Training”). The Parties acknowledge and agree that as of the Effective Date, pursuant to the Original Agreement, the Indevus Sales Force has completed the Primary Training with respect to Trospium Twice-Daily. The Primary Training shall initially consist of home study training and an initial training program, which shall include such medical and technical information about Trospium Once-Daily and, as applicable, Trospium Twice-Daily, and such sales training as the Marketing Committee deems necessary and appropriate, including training on the proper handling of Adverse Experiences encountered with respect to Trospium Twice-Daily and Trospium Once-Daily and on timely reporting to Esprit of inquiries relating to Trospium Twice-Daily and Trospium Once-Daily and other requests for information related to Trospium Twice-Daily and Trospium Once-Daily and the reporting thereof to Esprit. Esprit, with consultation from the Marketing Committee shall plan, formulate and conduct the Primary Training with respect to Trospium Once-Daily to the extent not completed as of the Effective Date, and Esprit shall be responsible for all expenses (e.g., airfare, hotel, and expense of instructors) except for salaries and compensation of members of the Indevus Sales Force incurred in connection with attending such Primary Training; provided that Indevus may participate in planning and conducting any such Primary Training relating to the Indevus Sales Force. The Product training of each Party’s Sales Force shall be consistent with the direction of Esprit, the Promotion Plan, and the Product training materials. Promptly after the Effective Date, Esprit and Indevus shall agree on a mutually convenient schedule which will enable the Parties to complete the Primary Training of the Sales Force with respect to Trospium Once-Daily in sufficient time to enable the Sales Forces to meet the launch date for Trospium Once-Daily in the United States.
Primary Training. Primary training establishes a foundation for the program and instructs staff in their roles as Home Visitors, Supervisors, and Program Managers to understand the essential components of family assessment and home visitation. Within the first six months of employment, new staff will need approximately 80 hours of primary training. Primary training covers content and service provision topics such as: working with families with multiple risk factors; offering services and making referrals; establishing eligibility and enrolling families in benefits; child development, child health and safety; establishing and maintaining trust with families; building on family strengths; maintaining professional boundaries; developing an individual family support plan; observing, teaching and modeling healthy parent-child interactions; managing crisis situations; cultural humility; reflective practice; and specific issues such as substance abuse; reporting child abuse; domestic violence; drug-exposed infants; and maternal depression. Curriculum Training is included in primary training. Staff must complete training by a recognized and/or certified trainer affiliated with the curriculum utilized by the F5HVP. Any Social Service Provider implementing the F5HVP must provide curriculum training at least every other year for new and veteran staff to maintain fidelity to the curriculum. Staff should be proficient in working within the full scope of the curriculum, to ensure that the home visitor is able to individualize and meet the families’ unique educational needs and interests.
Primary Training. Primary training is defined as any training specifically required by the department, required for the employee to perform their duties, or recruited for by the department. Provided 1) the University has given the employee thirty (30) calendar daysnotice of a training and 2) the pay would not be a decrease from the employee’s regular rate of pay, when an employee attends training outside of their regularly scheduled shift, the employee will flex their schedule to coincide with the schedule of the training and hours spent at the training will correspond to regular hours worked for that work period. For employees on graveyard shift, this flexed period includes any scheduled shifts, up to two (2) shifts, that would start or end on a training day. The employee will be compensated at a minimum of what they would have been compensated if they had worked their regularly scheduled shift. If the training occurs outside the employee’s regular working days they will be compensated at time and one half for all time spent in training outside of the regularly scheduled workweek. The Primary Training shall initially consist of home study training and an initial training program, which shall include such medical and technical information about the Product and such sales training as the Marketing Committee deems necessary and appropriate, including training on the proper handling of Adverse Experiences encountered with respect to Product and on timely reporting to Odyssey of Product inquiries and other requests for information related to Product and the reporting thereof to Odyssey. The Marketing Committee shall plan, formulate and conduct the Primary Training, provided that the Party not designated as the Party responsible for such training may participate in planning and conducting any Primary Training relating to such Party’s Sales Force. The Product training of each Party’s Sales Force shall be consistent with the direction of the Marketing Committee, the Promotion Plan, the Product training materials and the training of the other Party’s Sales Force for the Promotion of Product in the Field.

Related to Primary Training

  • Mandatory Training The Department reserves the right to require the Charter School to attend any training related to the responsibilities of a Charter School.

  • Additional Training Should the introduction of new methods of operation create a need for the perfection or acquisition of skills requiring a training period longer than one (1) year, the additional training time shall be a subject for discussion between the Board and the Union.

  • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.
