Regular Part-Time. A regular part-time employee is someone who has a regular schedule of work providing less than seventy (70) hours bi-weekly.
Regular Part-Time. The Employer shall specify the hours of work and the schedule of the hours to be worked, in writing, at the time of hire. The Employer will provide as much notice as possible, and in any event, will provide at minimum one weeks’ notice of any change in hours of work or schedules. The time frame specified may be altered by mutual agreement between the parties. A regular part-time employee is any person employed on a continuing basis for less than the normal hours of work or work week, whose duties fall within the bargaining unit as defined in Article 2 and who has completed the probationary period. Regular part-time employees shall be covered by all conditions of this Agreement except as follows: a) Sick leave entitlement shall be on a pro rata basis consistent with the time employed. b) After one (1) month service, regular part-time employees shall receive statutory holiday pay on a pro rata basis consistent with the number of hours worked in the previous thirty (30) days. c) Annual vacation entitlement shall be pro-rated in accordance with the actual time worked during the period the vacation was earned and shall be in proportion to the entitlement of a full-time regular employee with the same calendar period of service. Vacation pay shall be as provided in Article 9. d) Part-time employees will be guaranteed not less than four (4) hours work on each day that they are scheduled to work.

The parties will ensure that regular part-time positions are appropriately used to maintain corporate effectiveness, not to split a regular full-time position. Regular part-time employees are regularly employed on an average of 24 hours or less per week calculated on a monthly basis. They are employed for a minimum of 16 hours per month. Regular part-time employees are treated as regular employees except where noted otherwise. Pro-Ration Formula: The regular part-time employee benefit pro-ration formula is calculated based on the hours worked by the regular part-time employee expressed as a percentage of the normal scheduled number of hours for the classification. Where the number of regular part-time hours vary in a week it will be necessary to calculate this percentage over a jointly agreed upon extended period to get an accurate figure.

(c) Casual full-time and casual part-time and temporary nurses shall be paid six percent (6%) vacation pay. (d) Increases in entitlements for regular part-time nurses shall be based on total number of hours worked divided by one thousand eight hundred and twenty (1820).
Regular Part-Time. A regular part-time employee is one employed in a regular job which requires less than forty (40) hours per week, or forty (40) hours per week but less than two hundred seventeen (217) days per year. Regular part-time employees may be eligible for leave proportional to their FTE (proportion compared to a full-time equivalent) as provided by this Agreement.
