REHEARSALS DURING PERFORMANCE WEEKS. (a) The ARTIST may be called upon to rehearse during each Performance Week without the payment of additional compensation provided that: (1) Rehearsals during Performance Weeks shall not exceed the following: On a performance day – 2 hours On a performance day with dress rehearsal – 3 hours (allowed once a week) hours On the day preceding opening night* - 4 hours On the day preceding opening night with dress rehearsal – 5 On other non-performance days – 5 hours *opening night on tour is defined as the first performance of any tour. After five (5) consecutive nights spent in New York City a new tour begins. (2) The ARTISTS may be called upon to rehearse and/or perform not more than thirty (30) hours per week without incurring overtime and/or penalty payments as provided for in this Agreement, except in a dress rehearsal week where it can be thirty-two (32) hours without incurring overtime and/or penalty payments as provided for in this Agreement.. (3) The ARTIST shall not be required to rehearse within the two (2) hour period prior to the commencement of any performance, unless such rehearsal is scheduled under emergency conditions as herein defined and further provided that such Emergency Rehearsal is compensated for as provided in Paragraph 14(b) of this Agreement. Emergency Rehearsal shall be compensated at the prevailing rate. (4) The ARTIST shall be given one 5-minute break during each hour of rehearsal following a 55-minute rehearsal period. (5) The EMPLOYER shall not infringe upon the allotted free time after a travel call. Prior to the first scheduled rehearsal, ARTIST'S use of free time for class or personal warm-up may not be infringed upon (i.e. for costume fittings). (b) If the ARTIST shall be required to rehearse in excess of the maximum number of hours per day or per week, as above provided, he shall be paid not less than the rate of one-half (1/2) the hourly Overtime Rate for each such additional rehearsal half hour or fraction thereof. It is further agreed that spill-over overtime rehearsal as defined herein will be paid for at the rate of one-half (1/2) the hourly Overtime Rate for each additional half-hour of rehearsal or fraction thereof. In the event an ARTIST is required to rehearse a fourth (4th) consecutive hour, the first thirty (30) minutes of said 4th consecutive hour shall be paid at the Overtime Rate and any additional consecutive rehearsal time thereafter shall be paid for at the Penalty Rate in one-half (1/2) hour segments. REHEARSALS DURING PERFORMANCE WEEKS. After a production has opened, the EMPLOYER shall be entitled to not more than four (4) hours of rehearsal for such production during a Performance Week without additional compensation to ARTISTS. No rehearsals shall be scheduled within two (2) hours of any ARTIST’S make-up call prior to a dress rehearsal or performance, except in emergency cases or unless requested by the ARTIST. All hours of rehearsal scheduled in excess of the four (4) hours permitted above shall be paid at the hourly rehearsal rate indicated in each ARTISTS’ Section, as applicable.

REHEARSALS DURING PERFORMANCE WEEKS. Revise paragraph 25(p) as follows. In the event of Dress Rehearsals . . . the Employer agrees to allow fifteen (15)Artists shall receive a minimum of thirty (30) minutes of rehearsal time for dressing, hair, and makeup which shall be thirty minutes of uninterrupted time except for circumstances where the wardrobe scheduling does not permit thirty (30) uninterrupted minutes (and the Employer shall use best efforts to make such thirty minutes uninterrupted time)for dressing, hair, and makeup or fifteen (15) minutes if only dressing or makeup is required for the rehearsal. and an additional fifteen (15) minutes if make-up is required for the rehearsal. At the conclusion of the rehearsal, a total of fifteen (15) minutes shall be allowed for undressing and removal of make-up; provided, that (i) if full character or body make-up must be removed, a total of thirty (30) minutes shall be allowed, and (ii) if an unscheduled fitting is involved, the Artist shall be credited with the time spent regardless of length.
REHEARSALS DURING PERFORMANCE WEEKS. In the event that a performance call is less than three (3) hours, the additional time may be utilized for notes or rehearsal after 15 minutes is given for the removal of costumes. On two show days, rehearsal is limited to one-hour and only to works currently being teched/performed (within a two-week span) to ensure dancers are not required to shift focus between performances. This time may be scheduled immediately following a performance at the performance site or after travel time at The ATLANTA BALLET studios and will be posted to the dancer schedule following standard provisions for posting rehearsal schedules. Atlanta Ballet may schedule a fifteen-minute note session on performance days after Company Class. Note sessions shall be counted as part of the work week. Artists are not expected to dance full out. The Parties acknowledge that this provision is designed to provide the Company with flexibility to explore innovative programming options and agree that it will be subject to ongoing evaluation and adjustment, as needed, to ensure the health and safety of dancers. a. REHEARSALS DURING PERFORMANCE WEEKS. Revise paragraph (o) as follows (and delete duplicative provision, Article 27(a)(10)): Those Dancers who will be required to be in complete costume and make-up for a Dress Rehearsal must be notified at least two (2) four days in advance. For rehearsals where costumes are required for lighting checks, a reasonable number of Dancers per type of costume need be available and those selected shall be notified of that fact two (2) four (4) days in advance.
