Scheduled Days of Rest. Hours worked on the first scheduled day of rest shall be paid for at time-and-one-half (1 the regular rate for all hours worked up to the regular day full time hours and double the regular rate thereafter. All hours worked on the second or subsequent consecutive scheduled of rest shall be paid for at double the regular rate. Hours worked on the day observed as a paid holiday shall be paid for at time-and-one-half (1 the regular rate for all hours worked up to the regular daily full time hours and double the regular rate thereafter.   • Scheduled Days Off Except in cases of emergency, no employee will be required to return to his/her place of employment on his/her scheduled day off.

  • Days of Rest An employee shall be granted two (2) consecutive days of rest during each seven (7) day period unless operational requirements do not so permit.

  • Scheduled Downtime For the purposes of this Agreement, Scheduled Downtime will mean those hours, as determined by us but which will not occur between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday without your authorization or unless exigent circumstances exist, during which time we will perform scheduled maintenance or adjustments to the Environment. We will use our best efforts to provide you with at least twenty-four (24) hours of notice prior to scheduling Scheduled Downtime.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.
