Section 16.3.2. District will provide appropriate training for new hires and annually (prior to the start of 17 the school year or in a timely fashion as reasonable) thereafter on how to safely and 18 appropriately intervene to preserve the safety of students and/or staff as defined in Policy 3313. 19 Training will be available as appropriate to an employee’s job classification and/or work
Section 16.3.2. Level-A Food Service Worker may be identified as trained and responsible for regularly 44 assisting a Secondary Kitchen Manager in the daily performance of duties (as outlined in a 45 Secondary Food Services Worker-Lead job description.) A Food Service Worker so identified 46 will be compensated at Level B for all hours worked. This is a discretionary assignment and is 47 not a position title on Schedule A and A-1. Such an assignment may or may not exist in 48 secondary schools depending on the structure and method of service delivery. Any such 1 assignment shall be at the recommendation of the Kitchen Manager and approval of the 2 Director of Nutrition Services.
Section 16.3.2. 19 Required employee staff meetings called on the off-shift hours will be paid at their hourly rate for 20 a minimum of one (1) hour and scheduled at least one month in advance when possible.
