Split Shift Premium Clause Samples
Split Shift Premium. Employee shall receive an additional premium of two dollars ($2.00) per hour for all hours worked on a split shift. A split shift is defined as a shift that is regularly scheduled in accordance with this collective agreement and that includes one regularly scheduled interruption for purposes other than the employee’s meal break or the employee’s rest period. However, the foregoing shall not apply in cases where an employee requests to work on a split shift.
Split Shift Premium. An employee who is required to interrupt her work for a period longer than her meal period, or more than once per day except for the rest periods stipulated in clause 7.14, receives the split-shift premium. This daily pre- mium is:
Split Shift Premium. The employer agrees not to introduce split shifts during the life of the Collective Agreement. Where operational requirements permit the meal period will be as close to the middle of the shift as possible and will be taken at the location other than the place of duty. Due to the necessity of responding quickly to codes, designated employees working shifts must ,take their meal period in the Hospital, however, such meal periods shall be compensated as if the time had been worked. Where operational requirements prevent an employee from taking his entitled meal period he shall be compensated for this additional time worked at the applicable overtime rate.
Split Shift Premium. Employees shall receive additional compensation of seventy-five cents ($.75) per hour, for working a split shift where the elapsed time between the commencement and the conclusion of the shift exceeds nine (9) hours. This premium shall be increased by the percentage increase in the basic payroll rounded to the nearest cent.
Split Shift Premium. Split Shift Premium. Any employee working a split shift with a break of less than one (1) hour in an employee's schedule shall receive a premium of $12.50 hour per day when working this shift.
Split Shift Premium. An employee whose work schedule requires them to work a split shift shall be paid an additional sixty ($0.60) cents per hour. Employees not residing in the Employer’s facility, shall be exempt from being directed to work split shift, as long as there are visible eight (8) or ten (10) hours straight time shifts being worked, and the employee has the qualification and proficiency in that position. Split shifts shall be confined within a continuous twelve (12) hour period.
Split Shift Premium. The employee will be paid a ten ($10.00) dollar premium when they are scheduled to work a split shift
Split Shift Premium. Five ($5.00) dollars per occurrence will be paid when Employees agree to work a “scheduled” split shift.
Split Shift Premium. In any split shift that extends beyond twelve (12) hours, a premium of straight time shall be paid for any hours in excess of twelve (12), regardless of any rates of pay or premiums received for hours worked. Only regular scheduled work hours will be eligible for the split shift premium.
