Study Assistance Scheme. (1) Austrade will support personal development through the studies assistance and scholarship program. (2) Support for study leave, course fees and/or other support (including, but not limited to, language learning apps and services) may be provided to employees who are approved students undertaking external study in areas relevant to Austrade. (1) Where a role needs to be filled for 2 or more working weeks, higher duties allowance will be paid to any employee temporarily occupying the role acting at a classification level higher than their substantive classification level. (2) Higher duties allowance will be equal to the difference between the employee’s current salary and the salary that would be payable if they were promoted to the higher classification level, or a higher amount as determined by the CEO. (3) Where an employee is found to be eligible for salary progression at their acting classification level, they will receive an appropriate increase in the rate of higher duties allowance. The employee’s salary level will be retained for all future periods of acting regardless of elapsed time. (4) Where an employee is assigned only part of the higher duties, the CEO will determine the amount of allowance payable. (5) Where an employee undertakes any period of higher duties, the period working at the higher level will be taken into account in their performance review. This includes short term higher duties where there is no eligibility for pay progression at the end of the performance cycle. (6) Higher duties allowance will be payable while an employee is acting at a higher classification level as part of a job sharing arrangement where the duration of the arrangement is at least 2 working weeks. (7) The CEO may shorten the qualifying period for higher duties allowance on a case-by-case basis.

Study Assistance Scheme. 4.6.1 ▇▇▇▇▇’s study assistance scheme aims to: • enhance the skills and knowledge of employees in order to increase the organisation’s capacity to achieve corporate goals, manage change and increase organisational competence; • assist employees with their career development, adaptability and mobility; and • improve current and future job performance by encouraging a culture of continuous improvement. 4.6.2 Study assistance is discretionary and applicants do not have an automatic entitlement to approval as a student for either study leave or for financial assistance. Applications for study assistance are considered in accordance with ACIAR’s Study Assistance Policy and having regard to ACIAR’s operational priorities and resources. 4.6.3 Employees will be eligible to apply for study assistance to undertake a formal course of study at tertiary or higher education institutions or to undertake vocational education courses where: • the CEO judges that the study will assist in meeting identified capability needs in ACIAR; • the CEO judges that this is a cost-effective way of meeting those needs; and • the study has been recommended in the context of the employee’s performance agreement.

  • Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Consulting Teachers (CT) will be assigned to all new teachers with no prior teaching experience and tenured teachers rated ineffective on the qualitative measures at the end of the previous school year and recommended by the PAR Panel. Evaluations for Probationary and Ineffective Teachers:

  • Regulatory Assistance WuXi Biologics will provide assistance to Licensee, and any sublicensee, in respect of Licensee’s or such sublicensee’s regulatory filing activities for the Client Product and/or Drug Product, at Licensee’s or such sublicensee’s reasonable cost and expense on [***] rate.

  • Employee and Family Assistance Program (a) A province-wide Employee and Family Assistance Program for employees and members of their immediate family, with whom the employee normally resides, shall be provided. (b) This Employer-funded, confidential, assessment/referral service will be monitored by a Joint Committee. The Committee shall consist of two members: one member appointed by the Employer and one member by the Union. Employees representing the Union on this Joint Committee shall be on leave of absence without loss of basic pay for time on this Committee. (c) The Employer will consult with the Union regarding the selection of a service provider. The Employer will not select a service provider to which the Union has reasonable objections. (d) The Joint Committee shall develop an awareness package that can be incorporated into existing supervisor and Union training programs.

  • Turnover Assistance Grantee will provide any assistance and actions reasonably necessary to enable System Agency or its designee to effectively close out the Grant Agreement and transfer the performance and obligations of the Grant Agreement to another Grantee or to System Agency if necessary. Grantee agrees that this obligation survives the termination, regardless of whether for cause or convenience, or the expiration of the Grant Agreement and remains in effect until completed to the satisfaction of System Agency.

  • Employee and Family Assistance Plan The CODC PRO Care Plan is an industry-funded employee and family assistance plan for employees and their eligible family members according to the participation of sponsoring organizations and employers as well as Plan eligibility rules. Employees must be enrolled in the Plan by their employer to become eligible for Plan benefits, subject to the Plan eligibility rules. An individual employee cannot self-enroll in the Plan. i. Employers are required to remit the Contract Administration and Industry Development fees and the monthly CODC Employer Report Form to CODC by the 15th of the month following the month in which the hours were worked. ii. Employers must also submit the monthly Employee Data Report to the PRO Care plan by the 15th of the month following to facilitate the confidential determination of eligibility by the EFAP provider.
