Subsistence. Employees who are required to travel beyond a fifty (50) kilometer radius from the site or fifty (50) kilometres from their designated work area [where that work area exceeds a fifty (50) kilometre radius from their site] on business authorized by the Employer shall be reimbursed for expenses incurred as shown below, or in accordance with the Province of Alberta Regulations Governing Subsistence or Employer Policy, whichever is higher.
(a) Meals
(i) breakfast, if the time of departure is earlier or the time of return is later than zero seven thirty (0730) hours; or
(ii) lunch, if the time of departure is earlier or the time of return is later than thirteen hundred (1300) hours; or
(iii) supper, if the time of departure is earlier or the time of return is later than eighteen thirty (1830) hours.
Subsistence. 11A.01 There shall be three (3) distinct free zones as follows:
Subsistence a) On projects beyond one hundred (100) road kilometres from the City ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ or Saskatoon each Employee shall be paid the subsistence allowance per day for each day worked. Notwithstanding the above, persons working the four (4) day, ten (10) hour day work week and who work the four days shall be paid five (5) days subsistence allowance with appropriate receipt for proof of accommodation. However, if additional days are worked within the same week the subsistence allowance will revert to the per day worked basis and the five (5) day subsistence for the four (4) days worked will not apply.
b) Subsistence allowance will be paid for those scheduled work days that are not worked due to bad weather. Subsistence allowance will be paid for recognized holidays provided the Employee works all of the scheduled hours on the work day immediately preceding and the work day immediately following the recognized holiday.
c) Local residents shall not be entitled to subsistence allowance.
Subsistence. Work in San ▇▇▇▇ County (except ▇▇▇▇▇ Island), Clallam County, Jefferson County, and Pacific County will be paid seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per workday subsistence unless room and board is furnished by the Employer.
Subsistence. When host agency subsistence incident camps are available, meals and bedding for LGFF's operator(s) will be furnished without charge. The host incident agency will furnish meals and lodging without cost if hotel/restaurant subsistence is the approved camp for incident personnel. LGFFs may be paid per diem & lodging expenses to and from incidents by the agency responsible for payment. Exception: Travel expenses and travel time for crew swaps that occur within the tour of duty to meet LGFF department staffing needs are done so at the cost of such departments.
Subsistence. When Government subsistence incident camps are available, meals and bedding for Contractor's will be furnished without charge. Government will furnish meals and lodging without cost if hotel/restaurant subsistence is the approved camp for incident personnel. Double occupancy of hotel rooms may be required. Contractors are not paid per diem or lodging expenses to and from incidents.
Subsistence. Subsistence rates when payable shall be $70.00 per night for lodging and $14.00 per meal.

c) If the Employee travels more than two hundred (200) road kilometres from Saskatoon or Regina, on the day prior to start of work, the subsistence allowance, at the applicable rate, will be paid for the initial day of travel provided the Employee provides a paid hotel receipt as defined in the DEFINITIONS section of this Agreement. Only one receipt per room will be accepted for reimbursement.
Subsistence. When Cement Masons are required to travel seventy (70) miles or over, they shall receive fifty-five dollars ($55.00) per day subsistence pay. On subsistence jobs, the employee shall be paid from the point of referral to the jobsite and return at the beginning and ending of the job at the regular travel expense rate plus $0.25 a mile for each mile over seventy (70) radius miles.
Subsistence. When food is supplied, it shall be of first class quality and sufficient quantity. There will be no substitute for milk, eggs, butter, and bacon.
