Superintendent of Schools or Designee a. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, he/she may file his/her written grievance with the Superintendent or Designee within ten (10) days following receipt of the decision at Level One.
b. The Superintendent or Designee shall, within ten (10) days after receipt of the referral, meet with the grievant and with a representative of the Association’s Grievance Committee for the purpose of resolving the grievance.
c. The Superintendent or Designee shall, within ten (10) days after the hearing, render his/her decision in writing to the grievant with a copy to the Association’s Grievance Committee Chairperson.

Superintendent of Schools or Designee. 1. When the investigation is completed and the report of the findings submitted to the superintendent or designee, the associate superintendent, Office of Human Resources, will notify the employee, in writing, of one of the following:
a) The allegation has not been sustained
b) The employee will be disciplined
c) The employee is charged with immorality, misconduct in office, insubordination, incompetency, or willful neglect of duty sufficient to warrant termination of employment
(1) A recommendation will be sent to the Board of Education that the employee's services be suspended or terminated
(2) The employee is given an opportunity to exercise relevant employment rights
d) Other appropriate action as determined by the superintendent or designee
2. When the employee requests a hearing before the Board of Education, the procedures outlined in Policy BLB: Rules of Procedure in Appeals and Hearings are implemented.
Superintendent of Schools or Designee. If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level One, or if no decision has been rendered within ten (10) workdays after the grievance was delivered to the Supervisor, he/she may, within five (5) workdays after a decision by the Supervisor, or within fifteen (15) workdays after the grievance was delivered to the Supervisor, whichever is sooner, he/she may submit the grievance in writing to the Superintendent or his/her designee. The Superintendent or his designee will render a decision within ten (10) workdays of his/her receipt of the grievance. All parties to the grievance are urged to attempt to resolve the matter informally prior to this submission.
