Teacher of Record Clause Samples
The Teacher of Record clause designates the individual who is officially responsible for a student's instruction and academic progress in a particular course or classroom. This clause typically identifies the teacher whose name appears on official records, such as grade reports or attendance logs, and who is accountable for curriculum delivery, grading, and compliance with educational standards. By clearly assigning responsibility, the clause ensures accountability for student outcomes and clarifies who should be contacted regarding academic or administrative issues, thereby preventing confusion over instructional duties.
