Instructional Support. Provide instruction, training, and/or develop training materials and training aids, for various responses, services, and support activities otherwise within scope of this contract.
Instructional Support. 1. The University shall provide access to facilities, services, texts and instructional support that is reasonably necessary for bargaining unit members, including traveling teachers, to complete their assigned duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to: a. Office and desk space, b. Computer and internet connection; c. Training and support for web-based tools; d. Storage space; e. Office, laboratory and instructional equipment; f. Mailbox and email; g. Office supplies; h. Text, and/or reading materials; i. Photocopying equipment. 2. No teacher shall be assigned to work out of more than three (3) classrooms over the course of a whole rotation (8 blocks), where practicable. This provision shall not apply to special education. 3. Private space for confidential conferences shall be provided, when such space is available.
Instructional Support. 19.1 The College shall provide all represented faculty members with the supplies, materials, technologies, and other resources, including keys to buildings and/or classrooms, which are necessary to complete their assigned duties and responsibilities. The College shall determine, in its sole discretion, whether or not a requested supply, material, technology, and/or other resource is reasonable and necessary for the faculty member to complete their assigned duties and responsibilities. 19.2 Occidental will fill Faculty requests for Teaching Assistant support based on department procedures, available resources, and the department chair’s discretion subject to the ▇▇▇▇’▇ approval. Such requests will be granted or denied by the College in its sole discretion. 19.3 Faculty shall be provided with their own office space (potentially shared). Full-time and Fractional Resident Faculty shall receive priority for private offices. A College- owned computer appropriate for their job duties, as determined by the College, will be provided to each Fractional and Full time faculty member.
Instructional Support. All certified and non-certified services shall be provided to schools on modified calendars.
Instructional Support. The College shall provide the necessary resources for instructional support. Instructional support for bargaining unit members with full- time teaching responsibilities includes, but is not limited to, classroom access, office space, textbooks, instructional equipment, supplies and materials, software applications, audio-visual equipment and technological support such as guidance on software applications, fixing computer problems, assistance converting curricula to the web, and similar such support.
