Types of Events. This section applies to the State Farm Center only. The University and the Union recognize that events in the State Farm Center are of various categories including, but not restricted to sports events, convocations, and similar University events, commencements, exhibitions, conferences, competitive meets, religious services, meetings, and shows. Assembly Hall Stagehands holding either status or non-status appointments will operate sound, theatrical lighting systems and the grid console in all such categories of events. For the purposes of this Agreement, "Shows" include stage events such as dramas, musical comedies, revues, concerts, choral groups, symphonies, ballets, operas, personal appearances concerts by big name personalities and musical groups as well as certain limited kinds of non-stage events in the arena such as ice shows and water shows. In "Show" categories, the Stagehands may have added responsibilities and duties as detailed below. It is agreed that the Stagehands will have jurisdiction over the placement of scenery and such curtains as may be used in the stage area created by the masking curtains in the State Farm Center and other placement of scenery and such curtains as may be used in such shows as ice shows and water shows. The Union also agrees that in each morning, afternoon, and/or evening session or activities in the State Farm Center and for other unforeseen and unscheduled short periods of time, any employees, except a jurisdictionally-restricted employee governed by the single now-existing agreement known to exist between the local of two unions, may be used for a period of not more than fifteen
Types of Events. Reservations may only be made for private events by members. The member (or the member’s authorized tenant) must be present at the event. Functions involving solicitation of any nature, sale of drugs or alcohol and subleasing are all strictly prohibited. No live bands, disk jockeys or loud amplified music are allowed. No use of the pavilion should impede the quiet enjoyment of the membership of their own residential units. Any reservation of the pavilion does not include reservation of the pool or spa. Association meetings and functions have preference over any reservation. Alcohol and Smoking: No alcohol and no smoking are allowed.
Types of Events a) The management welcomes a wide range of events to be hosted within the venue. However, because of the nature and priorities of the work of the Wellbeing Steering Group, requests for venue hire may on occasion be turned down because it is felt they pose a potential risk or may interfere with the Management’s core values and purpose; b) The venue is only available for hire by defined groups and organisations. It is not available for private hire (including for parties/children’s parties etc); c) The venue cannot be hired where the business or activities of the hirer may be detrimental to the reputation of the Management; d) All bookings made with Management are granted strictly for the purposes agreed and will only be accepted on that basis. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to fully disclose the nature of the business and activities to the Management on booking.
Types of Events. The International Peace Museum's reputation and nonprofit status must be taken into consideration when renting the facility. The Museum is a civic organization with the mission of inspiring people from diverse backgrounds to work for greater peace and compassion through education and collaboration. Therefore, rental requests must be approved by the IPM's Executive Director. They will determine, at their sole discretion, if the rental applicant compromises the Museum’s mission or nonprofit status. Additionally, due to the obligation to protect the contents entrusted to the Museum, events that pose significant risks to the content of the facility will not be permitted. Rental Fees and Security Deposit A security deposit of $200.00 is required to hold the venue for the requested date/ time, upon event approval. Dates are not held without deposit. The remaining agreed-upon event rental fees are due 30 days prior to the event date, unless the rental is scheduled less than 30 days before the event. Upon invoice, payments may be made with cash, check, or credit card. The security deposit will be returned to the renter 7 days after the event if there is no damage or additional cleaning required. A schedule of rental fees will be provided by request. Event Days and Times The IPM will try to accommodate requested events and event times based upon approval of the requested program, availability of space and proposed event times. Ideally events should be held during the Museum's normal business days and hours, however, other days and times will be considered upon application. Date Changes, Refunds and Cancellations If the renter is forced to change the event date, the International Peace Museum will make every effort to accommodate the date change, if possible. The renter agrees that in the event of a date change or cancellation, the security deposit is nonrefundable. The rental fee is 90% refundable if the event is canceled 30 days prior to the event date, 60% refundable if the event is canceled within 14 days of the event date. If the event is canceled 7 days or less prior to the event date, there will be no refund. If the event is canceled by no fault of the renter, a full refund including deposit and membership fee will be paid to the renter. Advertising Renters are not to advertise an event prior to the execution of the Rental Agreement. The right to use IPM facilities does not permit the right to use the IPM name, logo, marks or branding, or to imply sponsorship...
Types of Events. A. Formal Chapter Events – There are two types of formal events, those that must be registered and those that do not. 1. The following are examples of formal events that must be registered: closed parties, chapter retreats, tailgates, alumni events, formals (i.e., galas)/themed events, socials, recruitment events, any event where alcohol will be present or any pre-planned event. 2. The following are examples of formal events that do not need to be registered: internal brotherhood/sisterhood events, USU-sponsored workshops, ritual, chapter meetings, or if an event is taking place in the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Student Center (TSC). B. Informal Chapter Events 1. While most events are scheduled and planned well in advance this policy recognizes that this is not always the case. Events that do not fit within the Formal Event category will be known as Informal Events. 2. USU will use four (4) criteria to assess whether a gathering or event is an informal chapter event. If the first criterion is met, the event is automatically considered an informal event. If the first criterion is not met, two (2) of the other three (3) criteria must be met for the event to be considered an informal event. a) Funded by the chapter (if this is met, it is automatically an informal event) b) Hosted by the chapter c) Posted or discussed on ANY social media platform associated with the chapter. This includes public or private platforms, discussed in a chapter meeting, posted on flyers, etc. d) 25% of members for chapters of 51 or more 50% of members for chapters between 25-50 75% of members for chapter with less than 25
Types of Events.  The types of events permitted at Shiloh Baptist Church of Waukegan include religious services, funerals, social gatherings, community services, weddings and receptions.  The Pastor, Deacons and the Trustee Board reserve the right to deny certain activities and music at the Church’s sole discretion.

  • Certain Events If any event occurs of the type contemplated by the adjustment provisions of this Paragraph 4 but not expressly provided for by such provisions, the Company will give notice of such event as provided in Paragraph 4(g) hereof, and the Company's Board of Directors will make an appropriate adjustment in the Exercise Price and the number of shares of Common Stock acquirable upon exercise of this Warrant so that the rights of the holder shall be neither enhanced nor diminished by such event.

  • Additional Events of Default In addition to the Events of Default set forth in the Indenture, the term “Event of Default,” whenever used in the Indenture or this Supplemental Indenture with respect to the Senior Notes, means any one of the following events (whatever the reason for such Event of Default and whether it may be voluntary or involuntary or be effected by operation of law or pursuant to any judgment, decree, or order of any court or any order, rule, or regulation of any administrative or governmental body): (a) the failure to redeem the Senior Notes when required pursuant to the terms and conditions thereof or to pay the repurchase price for Senior Notes to be repurchased in accordance with Section 3.2 of this Supplemental Indenture; (b) any nonpayment at maturity or other default under any agreement or instrument relating to any other Indebtedness of the Company or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries (the unpaid principal amount of which is not less than $100.0 million), and, in any such case, such default (i) continues beyond any period of grace provided with respect thereto and (ii) results in such Indebtedness becoming due prior to its stated maturity or occurs at the final maturity of such Indebtedness; provided, however, that, subject to the provisions of Section 9.01 and 8.08 of the Indenture, the Trustee shall not be deemed to have knowledge of such nonpayment or other default unless either (1) a Responsible Officer of the Trustee has actual knowledge of nonpayment or other default or (2) the Trustee has received written notice thereof from the Company, from any Holder, from the holder of any such Indebtedness or from the trustee under the agreement or instrument, relating to such Indebtedness; (c) the entry of one or more final judgments or orders for the payment of money against the Company, the Guarantor or any of their respective Restricted Subsidiaries, which judgments and orders create a liability of $100.0 million or more in excess of insured amounts and have not been stayed (by appeal or otherwise), vacated, discharged, or otherwise satisfied within 60 calendar days of the entry of such judgments and orders; (d) the Guarantee ceases to be in full force and effect (except as contemplated by the terms of the Indenture) or is declared in a judicial proceeding to be null and void, or the Guarantor denies or disaffirms in writing its obligation under the Guarantee; and (e) Events of Default of the type and subject to the conditions set forth in clauses (vii) and (viii) of Section 8.01(a) of the Indenture in respect of any Significant Subsidiary or, in related events, any group of Subsidiaries of the Company or Guarantor which, if considered in the aggregate, would be a Significant Subsidiary of the Company or Guarantor.

  • Certain Events of Default The following Events of Default will apply to the parties as specified below, and the definition of “Event of Default” in Section 14 is deemed to be modified accordingly: Section 5(a) (i) (Failure to Pay or Deliver) will apply to Party A and Party B. Section 5(a)(ii) (Breach of Agreement) will not apply to Party A or Party B. Section 5(a)(iii) (Credit Support Default) will not apply to Party A or Party B. Section 5(a)(iv) (Misrepresentation) will not apply to Party A or Party B. Section 5(a)(v) (Default under Specified Transaction) will not apply to Party A or Party B. Section 5(a)(vi) (Cross Default) will not apply to Party A or Party B. Section 5(a)(vii) (Bankruptcy) will apply to Party A and Party B; provided that clause (2) thereof shall not apply to Party B. Section 5(a)(viii) (Merger without Assumption) will apply to Party A and Party B.

  • NOTIFICATION OF PUBLIC EVENTS AND MEETINGS 17 A. CONTRACTOR shall notify ADMINISTRATOR of any public event or meeting funded in whole 18 or in part by COUNTY, except for those events or meetings that are intended solely to serve Clients or 19 occur in the normal course of business. 20 B. CONTRACTOR shall notify ADMINISTRATOR at least thirty (30) business days in advance of 21 any applicable public event or meeting. The notification must include the date, time, duration, location 22 and purpose of the public event or meeting. Any promotional materials or event related flyers must be 23 approved by ADMINISTRATOR prior to distribution. 24

  • Events If either Party hereto is at any time either during this Agreement or thereafter prevented or delayed in complying with any provisions of this Agreement by reason of strikes, walk-outs, labour shortages, power shortages, fires, wars, acts of God, earthquakes, storms, floods, explosions, accidents, protests or demonstrations by environmental lobbyists or native rights groups, delays in transportation, breakdown of machinery, inability to obtain necessary materials in the open market, unavailability of equipment, governmental regulations restricting normal operations, shipping delays or any other reason or reasons beyond the control of that Party, then the time limited for the performance by that Party of its respective obligations hereunder shall be extended by a period of time equal in length to the period of each such prevention or delay.
