Work Week and Work Day. A. The individual bargaining unit member work week shall normally consist of five (5) consecutive days. B. The basic work day is eight (8) hours and the basic work week is forty (40) hours. This provision shall not be construed as a guarantee by the school system of eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours of work per week. Working hours may vary depending upon the requirement of different job classifications, length of service by the member per year, and needs of the school district.

(b) Subject to the exception cited in Article 5.1(c), the normal week shall normally consist of five (5) consecutive days.

Work Week and Work Day. A. 11.1.1 Full-time employment for unit members consists of a forty (40) hours week rendered in units of eight (8) hours. The individual bargaining unit member work week shall normally consist of up to five (5) consecutive dayswork days for all unit members, rendering service averaging four (4) hours or more per day during the work week.
