WORKING IN A HIGHER. CLASSIFICATION 28:01 When an employee has been temporarily appointed to work in a higher classification in the bargaining unit, he/she shall be paid the appropriate rate for the duration of that appointment.
WORKING IN A HIGHER. CLASSIFICATION (a) No Technician shall be required to perform the duties of a higher rated classification except in those circumstances where the Technician is required to do so for a period of less than two (2) hours. Where required to perform the duties of a higher rated classification in excess of two (2) hours the Technician shall be compensated accordingly for the entire shift. (b) If a Technician (key or second) is away from set during work hours, the Technician must be replaced by a Technician upgraded to his/her status. The upgrade will be in effect only for time worked.

WORKING IN A HIGHER. CLASSIFICATION When a regular employee is substituting for an absent employee who has a higher position, the substituting employee will be paid the wages on the salary schedule for the higher position for the duration of each absence.
WORKING IN A HIGHER. CLASSIFICATION Any employee who is required to work in a higher classification beyond ten (10) consecutive working days will receive their regular rate of pay or the base rate of pay for the work being performed whichever is higher. In the event the employee works beyond ten (10) working days, the higher rate of pay will be retroactive back to the first day worked in that position. A higher classification is defined as that of a higher rank; or a classification requiring different and higher skills than the employee's normal classification and whose wage schedule is higher than the employee's normal wage schedule.

  • Working ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ An employee who is in charge of a crew not more than five men including himself, engaged in line clearance work. (In the application of Article X, the Company need not consider the application for promotion to this classification from any employee having less than one year of experience in the Climber classification.)

  • Work in a Higher Classification Any employee who is assigned by his/her supervisor to a vacant position in a higher grade for a period of more than thirty (30) days shall receive the salary rate for the higher position from the first day of the appointment, provided such assignment has the prior approval in writing of the Appointing Authority or his/her designee. The approval of the Appointing Authority or his/her designee shall take effect as of the first day of the assignment. Any assignment to a vacant position in a higher grade must be in writing to be valid.

  • Working Together 6.1 Both NFS and you will use your reasonable endeavours to proactively manage their working relationship and working practices in respect of this Agreement and aim to maximise the benefits and success of the Scheme. You will use all reasonable endeavours to encourage your visitors and supporters to make donations and Payments through the Scheme (including, but not limited to, complying with clause 7 of this Agreement).

  • Working Alone (a) Where an employee is employed under conditions which present a significant hazard of disabling injury, and when the employee might not be able to secure assistance in the event of an injury or other misfortunes, the Employer shall provide a means of periodically checking the well being of the employee. Checks shall be made at such intervals and by such means as are appropriate to the nature, hazard and circumstances of the employment. (b) The frequency of employee checks shall be increased proportionate to the nature of the hazard under which the employee is working. For example, extreme weather conditions; as the temperature decreases, the frequency of checks shall increase.

  • Promotion to a Higher Classification An employee who is promoted to a higher rated classification within the bargaining unit will be placed in the range of the higher rated classification so that he shall receive no less an increase in wage rate than the equivalent of one step in the wage rate of his previous classification (provided that he does not exceed the wage rate of the classification to which he has been promoted).
