Change of hours. If an employee is notified less than twelve (12) hours before the originally scheduled start time of a change in work hours, the affected employee will receive two (2) hours of pay at the straight time rate.

(b) Where such afternoon or night shift employee does not receive at least 8 hours' notice of the change from afternoon or night shift to day shift or day work or vice versa and an 8 hour break between shifts as a result of the change (whether from afternoon or night shift to day shift or vice versa), the employee shall be paid at overtime rates for the first 8 hours worked after such change.
